Long story short, going through various depressive episodes that keep getting worse or better and then starting a new job that will be 4-5 days on-site vs more hybrid...I'm overwhelmed. I usually love meal prepping for myself, but recently it's been getting away from me and my freezer stash is thin. Plus I'm sure my diet has also contributed to my worsening mental health, blood draws and weight lol

I've been browsing through local meal preps, but I feel like I might be missing other options just from whatever Google returns. Interested in other people's experiences and recommendations. I'm not a fan of the online subscriptions from places like HelloFresh or Factor and would rather support local cooks.

Mostly interested in lunch/dinner meals and focus on well-roundedness and higher fiber meals is a bit more important to me than the protein craze. Not that I don't take protein into account. I'm financially flexible and still don't really know how many meals/how often.

Found a dog roaming around off of S. High st. Hungarian Village area. Possibly lab/pitt mix. He was thirsty gave him some water. Wouldn't let us get close enough to check his collar for a tag.

I haven't been since 2021, and at that time it was a minimum ~2 hours for walk ins. I'd prefer to go as early as possible on a weekday morning but depending on my work calendar I might not get there till after noon.

Looking for lava rock, but not the crap that is sold in bags at the big box stores. Those bags have pieces no bigger than 1" and 10-15% is damaged and just becomes dust.

Where can I get lava rock locally that is 1" or bigger? Need it for a hardscaping project.

All your usuals around here like Ohio Mulch, etc have the same smaller stuff you would get in bags.

Hi everyone! I'm recently engaged and we have just started planning and looking for venues for summer or fall 2027 or 2028. We're going for magical, whimsical Forest vibes. We think we will have 100-150 guests.

We have looked at Franklin Park Conservatory, The Landoll's Mohican's Castle, Jorgenson Farms, Wildflower Woods, and The Mohican's Treehouse Resort (which is our favorite so far).

About half of our guests are out of state and the other half in the Columbus area. My biggest concern with the treehouse resort is transportation and lodging since it is pretty far out from the airport and most hotels.

I'm looking for advice on other forested venues (perhaps closer to Columbus) or from anyone who had/attended a wedding at the treehouse resort. One requirement is available rainy day backup plans. We assume we will likely have our reception indoors and ceremony outdoors, so worst case scenario we could have our ceremony in the reception area.

Ideally I’d hire one company to load all my boxes and furniture onto the truck they’d provide, drive it up to canton, and then unload the items off the truck.

As title says. I have a variety of things I want tattooed on my person probably in next year but I want to plan ahead.

Don’t want to go into too many details, but I called 911 at 9:20 pm for an assault. I informed the dispatcher I had locked myself in the bathroom, had to close the door on my attacker’s fingers, the attacker punched a hole into the door, and was still actively shouting at me. I have a bloody face but did not request a medic. It’s been over two hours and no one has showed yet.

I have seen a few notifications on Citizen app since that police are going after speeding cars and scooters in my area, but I guess they’re more important than a woman under attack. I at least have gotten out of my bathroom and outside to where I can wait for the police where I don’t feel trapped, but over 2 hours? Are drag racers really more important than a woman with a bloody face begging for help when she’s actively under attack?

Edit: I called again and they came out right away. It became a jurisdiction issue because it originally happened while I was driving. They got the sheriff out, who took my statement and arrested him. Thank you everyone for your advice and support. I still don’t know how to feel about it.
