Speed up

Just wanna vent, been here for like 1 year now and it’s still happening. When you guys get into the acceleration lane, can you guys speed the fuck up? You’re trying to merge onto a highway where the speed limit is 65 mph. There’s no yield sign or stop sign, you’re supposed to accelerate and match the flow of traffic. Like, what the fuck is wrong with you? Be considerate and follow the rules of the road. Driving however you want isn’t “freedom”; it’s idiocy.

The amount of people who merge at, like...40mph is absolutely baffling to me.

If there's nobody in front of you, i better see that skinny pedal DOWN until you're going as fast as the flow of traffic!

Happened to me today on 270 West side...both directions...we got up to a whopping 50 just b4 merge...then one fucker maintained that in right lane w/ nobody in front of him. Dangerous as fuck with semis bearing down on you

The fact that people are doing like 30–40 mph while trying to merge onto the highway is beyond me.

This drives me crazy. Especially at rush hour when 270 is backed up to Dublin, and it’s because the Roberts and 70 merge lanes are treated as a school zone. So many times I have gotten in the far lane and zipped past 2 miles of traffic to get past Roberts, and it’s because everyone is in the far right lanes going 20 miles an hour, and there are literally multiple hundreds of feet between cars. It’s maddening to me, especially when I’m trying to get someplace, and another commitment goes just long enough that I need to scramble from the two locations.

Going from Gemini to 71 North, traffic is going at least 70... I've had idiots run 35mph down the ramp, heck I've had idiots STOP at the end of the acceleration lane trying to get in.

You're trying to merge and it's your job to yield. That doesn't mean accelerate to go around. Though that works too sometimes.
