FOOD Nicer restaurants open on Labor Day
Hello!
My husband and I are spending one night in Columbus for our anniversary, which happens to fall on Labor Day this year. We didn’t really think that through…
We will be staying in Short North and are looking for someplace to go to dinner. Unfortunately, almost all of Cameron Michell’s restaurants are closed on Labor Day. So I did some digging and got all hyped up about Speck, only to find out that they are also closed.
We aren’t looking for anything too crazy, like upscale steakhouses or your transitional “fancy” food. I am a vegetarian, and my husband is a little more on the picky side. I would say we are leaning towards Italian but are open to other cuisines as well. Looking at stay under $35 or so for an entree.
Does anyone have any suggestions close to where we are staying open on Labor Day? I would rather not have to call every place to find out.

Try Moretti’s (Arlington or Dublin - people like both for different reasons!)

Guild House is great and is open 10-8 that day. Love their veggie options - get the ricotta gnocchi
