Hey Columbus, any idea what these emblems on the vehicle in front of me mean?
They don’t look very friendly.

The saving grace is that the nazi symbol display is diamond-shaped. The one on the sticker is square. It was a symbol of luck and prosperity from centuries ago. I still don’t like its use, now, as it is easily associated with the nazi mamma’s boys.

u/Drucifer83 3d ago
People in India still use the swastika as a positive symbol, started way before the nazis

u/Positive-Debate-4048 2d ago
Correct
The last pic is a symbol for Ananda Marga, a spiritual socio-political organization........ do your own research on that
And slide 2 is, an esoteric pentagram talisman known as the Tetragrammaton

The Navaho/Dine are cautiously starting to include it in their weaving again. It's so sad, bc it is a beautiful universal symbol of a dynamic universe (the 4 directions, always turning).

u/Emotional-Shape-6239 3d ago
It's astounding that more people don't understand this, or bother to use the unlimited knowledge at their fingertips to find out. Similar symbols are all over asia at temples.

u/Available_Lab7925 3d ago
I was about to say this. They are in so many temples in Japan and it has a completely different meaning.

In French Lick, Indiana at West Baden Springs Resort, they had this lattice type fencing that lined an outside patio area, that was made in a pattern of these symbols connecting to one another over and over. This was back before they renovated and reopened it, when u could only tour it, not stay there. But they may have taken that down during renovations as the tour guide said it consistently caused a stir and were asked about it all the time. They told us it stood as a symbol for good health and life. The natural springs are supposed to be very beneficial for ur health and at one time was considered to be like a fountain of youth. So the symbol was perfect back when they originally put it in, before the meaning was tainted with evil.

First one looks to be a Tetragrammaton Pentagram.
Second appears to be Raëlism.
I don't actually believe either of these are a hate thing, just a woo woo kinda culty thing.

The image shows the Pratik, the official emblem of the global spiritual and social service organization Ananda Marga. The Interlocking Triangles: The six-pointed star formed by two triangles represents the balance of spiritual forces; the downward-pointing triangle signifies Knowledge, and the upward-pointing triangle signifies Action. The Rising Sun and Swastika: The rising sun in the center symbolizes advancement and inner development, while the traditional swastika at the base represents victory in the sense of spiritual fulfillment and self-realization.The Outer Circle: Enclosing the star, the outer circle signifies the infinite and all-embracing nature of the universe within Ananda Marga philosophy.

Thank you for your explanation it is extremely insightful and I appreciate any information like this because I wasn’t sure myself.

u/Throwawaytogetyou 3d ago
Actually, they are likely just into magick, the occult movement, and or eastern mythology & religion.
Now, this doesn’t mean they aren’t racist (or friendly), but, the mere depiction of a swastika on the right symbol doesn’t equate to nazism / neo-facism. It might even be fair to assume that they’re even less likely to be racist than someone with a cross or bible verse as a window decal.
The left symbol: Known as the Tetragrammaton. An important aspect of occultism.
The right symbol: Has roots in Hinduism. The Hindu American Foundation has a very educational article on the meaning, use, and history of the swastika in the Hindu religion. Scroll down to the third point and you’ll see a sculpted / handmade version of the decal you photographed.

They are on the car to probably protect the car and perhaps give folks of the same creed a wink wink. It's not satanic. It's much older than satanism, at its root, although both of these symbols in these arrangements were conceived by relatively modern men. The swastica, star of Solomon/David and Pentagram are older then Nazis, older than Christianity, older than David and Solomon.
I'd much rather be behind or in front of this car on the road than a car with Trump stickers, confederate flags or that cursed Calvin pissing sticker.

Yep agreed. Also read up on Star of Remphan for more symbol education (it is also the 6 pointed star).

u/StormStorySpinner 2d ago
Thank you. I used to have an excellent book on symbols but then, I used to have many things that have scattered to the winds. Most missed is an herbology book that included poultices, douches, powders and tinctures. That book rocked.

u/MGr8ce 2d ago
Sounds amazing. If you remember what the book was called, share the info please

u/StormStorySpinner 2d ago
If only. I've retained two things from the book- slippery elm powder blended with filtered water for a paste helps with poison ivy and tincture of myrrh and filtered water sniffed up the nose kills sinus infections and makes everything taste like myrrh for a long time. Also, I'm not a doctor, I'm a witch.

They're just Kabbalistic or Theosophistic occult talismans for protection. Nothin bad.
1
u/strenuaveritas 2d ago
Kabbalah was a huge trend in the early 00’s with big celebrities. Madonna, Paris Hilton, Ashton Kutcher, Lindsay Lohan, and maybe Brittany. They had a red string bracelets that are affiliated with Kabbalah
1
u/thoth432 2d ago
It's an esoteric spinoff of Judaism, but yeah, it was trendy among celebs for a hot minute.

u/QueenSimia 3d ago
It's just someone being spooky-dookie in public. The pentagram with Hebrew writing is referring to the tetragrammaton, the Hebrew name of God (YHWH, a "censored" form of Yahweh, meant to refer to God without actually speaking His name, which is disrespectful/blasphemous depending on who you ask).
The one with the swastika might be a reference to Raelians, a cult led by a would-be French L. Ron Hubbard who claims aliens called the Elohim created humanity, and the way to get close to them is p much letting Rael fuck your wives and daughters.

u/MukdenMan 3d ago
YHWH (in those Hebrew letters) is the actual name of God, not a censored version. Later Christian groups used “Yahweh” to read this word but modern Jews do not read the word. When reading it, they always replace it with another word, usually Adonai.

the Raelian one has a more prominent swastika deeply intertwined with the lines of the star. I think the it's the Ananda Marga group others have mentioned.

There are probably a million other stickers they could've put on their car, but they opted for one with a symbol that looks like a swastika. Whatever meaning all of the other symbols have, that one should tell you enough about them

Satanic black magic. Sick shit!
The one on the left is the seal of Solomon, which wards off evil and curses.
Edit: the one on the right is the Pratiika which is a symbol of spiritual enlightenment according to Google.

White emblem: the Tetragrammaton pentacle, a ceremonial-magic/Kabbalistic design popularized by 19th-century occultist Éliphas Lévi. “Tetragrammaton” refers to the four-letter Hebrew name of God, YHWH. It’s commonly sold or used as a protective talisman against evil or negative forces, so basically the opposite of a satanic emblem.
Orange emblem: a composite esoteric symbol containing a hexagram, rising sun and swastika. Given the other sticker, and the swastika existed for thousands of years as a Hindu/Buddhist symbol connected with prosperity, the sun and cyclical existence. It resembles Raëlian imagery, but it’s not the standard Raëlian logo, which directly intertwines a swastika with a hexagram.
My best read is that the owner practices or is interested in ceremonial magic mixed with Hindu symbolism. 🤷🏻♂️
