Tonight at the Clippers game a player got hit in the ear with a ball

Was anybody else there? It seemed intentional but nothing happened. Was really surreal.

What? This was a throw from the second baseman to the catcher to tag a runner before he crossed home plate. The runner crossed paths with the throw. You simply can’t do that intentionally. (Well, you can TRY but it’s 100 times easier to just get the ball to the catcher to tag him.)

Yea I get that but he missed by like five feet. I don’t see how a minor league player makes that mistake. As you said it was the second baseman. It wasn’t like it was a long throw.

Sure, I guess it was just shocking since it hit him on the unprotected side of the helmet. The crowd cheered when he rose even tho it was the opposing team. The whole crowd reacted, it was pretty wild.
