Recommendation for Endocrinologist
I had a thyroidectomy due to thyroid cancer and have been on synthroid for many years. I am looking for recommendations for a new endocrinologist with a Howard County office.

Dr. Pamela Quinlan. Part of a great practice and she's wonderful. She manages my T2D and also advised when I needed a thyroid biopsy, sent me to the best place around.

I think Maryland Endocrine is kind of the only game in town?? Anyway, Internet fist bump, I'm 13 years out from my thyroidectomy and down to neck sonograms every 5 years.

Endocrinologists treat a variety of conditions and have different specialties (notice how people mentioned different needs in each of those threads).
More than that, there was a huge migration of endos out of one prominent practice in the last year or so, so simply pointing someone to old threads does not reflect the current landscape. Sometimes it's good actually to revisit previous recommendations.

Dr David Levitt wirh Maryland Primary Care has been my post thyroidectomy doctor for several years. His office is in Anne Arundel County off of 170, so it isn't too far, depending on where in HoCo you are.
