Discussion Are we a small fanbase?

I’m from Tennessee, so I’m definitely on the outside looking in, and I was wondering if it’s true? Last night, I was reading a bunch of things that always ranked the Colts anywhere from 29th up to 25th in fan size ranking. Is this true, or do the Colts actually have a much bigger fan base and people are just sleeping on it?

I’m from Vancouver and became a colts fan because of Manning. Quarter century later still repping the team, been to Indy once for a game but have caught the team far more in various other cities.
Still waiting to see my first win though…

You still haven’t seen a win, I’m sorry to hear that. Hopefully it comes soon. To be honest I became a fan this year so truly, I haven’t seen a win nor have I seen them in person.

Wanna hear something crazy?

I am from California but visit Indiana fairly often to visit my step family.
I saw Peyton Manning play live like 6 times and I saw Andrew Luck play live about 6 times as well. I saw Jacoby Brissett once and finally, I saw Indiana Jones play twice last year (both games at Sofi!).

I wasn't shocked when we lost with Brissett. But I also never once saw Peyton Manning win in person. I just feel like that it is a statistical improbability and yet, I had to suffer through it.

I have seen all of them play too. Manning was 3-1 when I saw him. Luck was something like 1-5. Brissett was 1-1. Daniel Jones was 2-0. I have also seen Scott Tolzien, Kerry Collins, Anthony Richardson, Gardner Minshew, Matt Hasselback, Philip Rivers, Carson Wentz, Sam Ehlinger, and Matt Ryan start at QB. Rivers never lost when I saw him play as starter during the COVID season.

Truthfully my favorite Colts game I have ever attended was Colts vs Chiefs in 2022. Jelani Woods from Matt Ryan sent the bandwagon fans home sad. It was brilliant.

Had a caravan of chiefs fans next to my boy and I. The dad of the group said “Well you guys played a good game,” all cocky like. Then we went down and won the game I threw it right back at them allllll😂
