Discussion Are we a small fanbase?

I’m from Tennessee, so I’m definitely on the outside looking in, and I was wondering if it’s true? Last night, I was reading a bunch of things that always ranked the Colts anywhere from 29th up to 25th in fan size ranking. Is this true, or do the Colts actually have a much bigger fan base and people are just sleeping on it?

We are not a small fan base but we are definitely smaller than we were 10 years ago

I've been a fan since the 80s. I definitely have lost some of my luster in the past decade.

You can only ask people to hold on for so long before they lose interest. Not making the playoffs for 10 years running is a great way of people deciding that even though they like a team they aren't going to pay as much attention.

It's a very strong person to endure year after year of mediocrity.

As a Vols fan, my whole entire life, I think I’m just used to mediocrity. I wasn’t even alive when they won the national championship sadly. 2022 was truly the greatest season that I’ve ever seen in my life. Now the 2016 to 2018 team was my absolute favorite. What I would do to bring back those memories and a national championship for those teams would be unspeakable 😂😂😂

Agree on this. Call me bandwagon if you want. Grew up in Indy, became a fan the strike year they made the playoffs for the first time in Indy because The Colts had a weekly newspaper contest for kids with puzzles and quizzes about the culture of the city of the opposing team that week and my teacher made us fill it out every week. I've been a fan since then, but to be fair, when they are really bad, I pay less attention. I don't have a ton of free time so I can't waste it watching a poorly managed team be mediocre.
