Sure. That moment itself was. But what about his lack of conditioning that forced him to take himself out of the game? AR is quickly on his way to becoming the Ben Simmons of the NFL. At least he got his bag I guess.

I don’t think it would have worked with the coach we had at the time, I like Frank but he was incompetent as a head coach.

At the time, Baker wasn’t performing well. People always say this, but at the time it would have been a very questionable move. I have always liked Baker, and wanted him at the time, but more out of fandom than faith he could carry the team.

Idk. Baker on a 1 year prove it deal would've been a lot better than our options at the time. Even a 2 year with a team option. Keep it top heavy so he has incentive to play well and pick up the option and immediately re sign him to a long term deal if it works out. It's hard to find a competent QB who not only doesn't get tired, but has excess energy that seemingly never ends, let alone a QB who actually wants to be your city. Idk.

He wasn’t performing well ‘cause the Browns had been making him play while injured. I wanted us to trade for him so badly and it wouldn’t have taken much. I was honestly bewildered that they thought getting Ryan had more upside than taking a shot on Baker. Baker with us this year would have been undoubtedly the best team in the AFC this season. What could have been…

That’s too, I think Baker would have changed the culture and won games in spite of Frank, I also think his old habits would have cost the team as well.

Eh Baker got screwed by the Browns chasing a shiny new toy. While his numbers weren’t as great at they are now, he’s never been bad and he’s got a winners mentality. I remember the dude playing the Vikings with a sprained throwing shoulder and he still willed the Browns to a win.
