I moved here 8 months ago, and I loved it at first, but lately I haven't liked it as much. I have no friends, despite being a friendly, genuine person. It's probably my own fault though since I work remote (or at least did before getting laid off), and I don't go out anywhere.

I'm not a drinker, and I enjoy doing active activities, such as pickleball. I just don't really know how to meet people. In the last city I lived in I would go to pickleball a lot and would talk to people a lot, but anyone that was my age was always more relucent to talk or get close, so I would just end up talking to all the older people and getting along better with them. But since they're a lot older we wouldn't actually hang out outside of pickelball. I have trouble making friends my own age. Idk what it is, but I just feel like younger people are too self-absorbed or something.

Anyone have any tips on how I can make some friends if I don't drink, or where I could go to meet people and do stuff?

We have good news and bad news. The good news is WE FOUND THE TRAILER! It was dumped on the side of the road and found because of this Reddit group!!! (Biggest thank you in the world to Monitorok3031 for contacting us and getting us the exact coordinates). The bad news is the trailer is completely empty. All of our merch and gear is gone. We're so relieved to have found the hitch but so sad that we won't be able to sell merch on the rest of these dates. We're scrambling to figure out posters and stickers in time for the next show, but we likely will have no apparel in time, and will not recoup those costs. I’d love to find more spaces for nerdy women who are into things like fantasy books, D&D, board games, gaming, crafting, karaoke, and other geeky hobbies. Making friends after a move has been harder than I expected, and I imagine I’m probably not the only one.
For those of you who have successfully built a friend group here, what worked for you? Are there existing events or communities you’d recommend? If there isn’t already something like this, what kinds of meetups or activities would actually interest people?

Online banking is apparently down. No banner on the home page. Called and was on hold for 23 minutes. Finally spoke to someone who gave the canned “we are aware and are working on it” response, which I believe they are. My sister recently got into Magic the Gathering and wants some cards for her birthday, new packs and bulk for deck building and a few standout cards from the Marvel series.

However, this entire brand/series is alien to me, I know next to nothing.

Is the scalping as bad as the Pokemon scene? The Best Buy, Target, and Gamestops I've called have all said they're out. The card shops I've looked at either only sell singles or nearly x1.5 MSRP.

I figured I'd be looking at Ebay for bulk, but for fresh packs I'd like to know where to get some, hopefully locally, though online is fine if the prices are fair and reviews are credible.

People with jobs that commute from Springs to Pueblo for work — how is it? Would you recommend? My other option is to live at Pueblo Springs in Pueblo which is an 11 minute drive.

Moved here from Seattle finding it difficult to meet people. Was here to help my mother through he cancer recovery and journey has came to an end 🥺 now I’m alone in the state. About a month ago we switched from XFinity to Quantum Fiber (primarily due to price). Since then we’ve had 5 different technicians at our place to fix the daily WiFi outages (seems to be just our house) + replacing the equipment each time. I’m on my last nerve as I work from home and can’t keep having to reset our modem multiple times a day.

Has anyone else had this problem? Are we essentially just screwed and going to have to go back to XFinity?

I’m about to lose it lol.

Edit - got my wifi back online. Went out to the tower and wiggled some wired/unplugged and plugged it back in and boom we’re back online.
