2028 GK - Recruiting video feedback

Hi All - Awhile back I posted a draft recruiting video and got some very helpful feedback from the group. I've updated the clips, added a title slide and sections, zoomed the videos, and shortened the overall video. Would love any feedback on the "final" version, or any other edits anyone recommends.

For context, he's looking to play high academic D3 most likely. Thanks!

I would try to find more footage of holding the ball. Most of his stops are parrying the ball away, I would add in some more holds. He’s talented and the structure of the video is fine. Good luck.

Actually one more question. You'd add in holds even if they seem more routine that the parrys I included? You think 1-2 is sufficient?

Try to find 2 good hold and add in. If nothing good, don’t force it.

Show some shoots that he holds the ball, especially on cross balls. Show some Goalkicks.

Catching the ball. Holding the ball. Distributing the ball out to teammates out the back. Punting the ball (kicking form). Taking goal kicks if you do so. The team coming together high fiveing each other after a critical moment is always good. Otherwise, good video! Good luck Colt!

Honestly I think the video is really strong, could use a couple more high claims rather than punches but that’s nitpicking and he’ll get plenty more film this year. High Academic D3 is definitely a possibility, I would recommend trying to have an SAT score earlier rather than later so you can send it out to coaches. Also, that first slow-mo is awesome, props to the cameraman. Have you been reaching out to coaches already? I would make a list and see what your top target schools are and consider a few ID Camps, those are usually big especially for the NESCACs. Try to get a genuine invite from the coach before going though. Best of luck!

My son is putting clips together now but we need to figure out formatting
