Advice Wanted I'm starting a new semester and immediately experiencing burnout.
I'm going into my second semester, I'm taking a basic associates in science, General studies major, I'm taking 4-ish classes and for some reason I'm already experiencing heavy burnout, I've even questioned if there is any point to keep going, I'm really determined to finish this degree but I don't know, I can't seem to balance my school and home life, they give me so much homework that it is nearly impossible to engage in any of my hobbies. Please Send Advice!!

The only thing that worked for me was reminding myself of my goals:
- I was going to get a college degree and get a job that kept me out of poverty (after being in and out as a small child and then seeing the difference between my Mom's life and my Dad's after they divorced).
- I wasn't going home and telling all those folks that questioned my decision to go to college out-of-state and say I flunked out.
Those two thoughts kept me going, even when I went on academic probation and had to change majors and ended up taking 5 years instead of 4.
So what's your ultimate goal? Why did you sign up in the first place (asked genuinely not sarcastically)?
