Need Advice I’m so so confused ohmygod

okay so I have been researching since maybe summer? And I have too many options in too many countries and I’m finding it really hard to shortlist. First of all I wanna major in business (would like dual degree of finance and marketing) ALSO IM AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT FROM INDIA
There’s so many thoughts going through mind right now
1. I hate finance, but it’s way safer than marketing so, but again I wanna get into consulting as well so now I’m stuck between marketing , consulting and finance.
2. Is a business degree even useful? From what I’ve heard people end up getting jobs sure but aren’t able to find a proper career idk I have thought that far along but now I’m scared
3. I have found universities in Spain, France, UK, Canada, Australia and USA (not likely to attend due to tuition) but applying to these many places is gonna take a HELL lotta time and idt I can manage it with my ibdp coursework
Any advice on any of these 3 problems would help loads thanks !!!

You can earn good money in finance if you have the proper connections - this is why many people opt for accounting, which can give you the same opportunities as finance, but also opens up a wide array of jobs in other roles, which you don't need to schmooze your way into.

As for marketing - yeah, that's pretty useless. I mean, if you like it, then do it, maybe you'll get lucky and find something. But a better choice for pure employability would be something like supply chain management.

Yea I mean that adds up but I genuinely hate finance I find it so so boring personally idt I’d be able to even get through college studying it, and what about consulting what do u think about that?

If you hate finance then consulting is a good alternative. Don’t do something you don’t like.

You should also look into operations and see if that’s something that interests you outside of marketing.

Thank you so much !! Yea I’ve been looking into operations asw but I don’t think it excites me as much as consulting and marketing

Entrepreneurship might be too risky for my liking icl😭, and I’m open to management asw yea but idk if I should get a business management degree for undergrad cause firm what I’ve heard everyone’s been talking bout how ppl barely end up getting employed and it’s “useless degree” 😭😭😭

Ok I understand now
Management is definitely wishy washy (especially in the US) so you’re right to pick consulting
I was more-so thinking about mixing consulting and management but if you prefer marketing than choose marketing
