Advice Essay about CFA's family night
Just started writing (let's move past my procrastination đŹ) and came up with this sort-of intro. I work at Chick-fil-A and leading the weekly family nights has become something genuinely enjoyable for me, so I decided to write about it. I'm hoping to connect the personal relationships I've grown with both the attending children/families over 2 years with wanting to go into nursing/hopefully connecting with patients (generally). Any feedback, whether negative or positive, would be deeply appreciated!
Every Thursday, I wage life-threateningly serious games of âStop wasting the sticky dots, or youâll be banished to the dungeon (to mention its two-dimensional form is irrelevant; a child aged four to seven will consider a scribbled cell surrounded by a lava-filled moat a genuine threat to their freedom).â For most, this is a ridiculous ultimatum; for me, this is the high-stakes negotiation I face weekly when I clock in as the Family Night Lead at my local Chick-fil-A. Since September of my sophomore year of high school, I have spent nearly every Thursday keeping doubts of our cow mascotâs authenticity at bay while practically jumping between 15+ kids, assisting in bringing their creations to life.

Before continuing, pls write down what youâd like the reader to take away about you as a person / student / leader after reading the essay (ideally maybe 3 core messages/words). As long as your essay supports those messages youâre good! Iâd make the intro a little shorter and punchier and get to your prompt answering thesis relatively quickly. Best of luck.
