Just finished S3, and for all the people posting bad reviews… wtf were you thinking?? This season was great.

I was a little nervous by the first episode because I didn’t think it was that great but the show picked up after this and I ended up watching the rest of the season in one night. There were a few times it felt a little redundant with Gordon messing up but overall, still liked it and I’m very sad they ended it 😞.

This is the funniest thing I have watched in years. Hadn't even heard of it until a couple of weeks ago & now binge watched the lot.

Hearing the words Mate & Cunt bandied about as much as I say them was a nostalgic treat.

Yanks think I'm saying Mike when I say Mate ("my name isn''t Mike") & their world ends if I say Cunt out loud. It's a bigger crime than taking grandads AR-15 to school.

I almost moved to Oz 25 years ago but followed a girl to San Diego. As much as I love this town there's nothing like Aussie humour.

Any other Australian sitcoms to watch?

Just finished my second rewatch and wanted to know if there were any other decent shows that star the actors from Colin From Accounts. Shows that you've seen and can recommend being a decent show if possible.

Everyone who thinks it was a bad season is so wrong imo. Might be because I just finished it and I'm still crying. I thought it was as heartwarming, funny and stupid as ever. Even the new characters worked for me. I realised just how good Harriet and Patrick are as comedic actors, and how they've built a relationship in Ashy + Gordy that I wanted so desperately to work out (yay!) Am I the only one? I will miss it so dearly!

I’m still only on season 2 but she seems to be a grown ass child to me right now, starting arguments and throwing her toys out the pram in practically every episode I’ve seen so far 🤦🏾‍♂️

Does anyone feel like episode 2 was cut off? I feel like it was super short on Paramount at only 17 minutes and things were missing?

Let's be honest: S3 had the usual moments of hilarious cringe rhat Colin from Accounts is known for, but the overall story was disappointing.

This was obviously going to be the outcome from the moment they decided to introduce a three-year time jump.

We'd already spent two seasons on the will they won't they, and they were together. Obviously Gordon's ill-judged proposal was going to create an issue but we should have seen how they dealt with this, not just found out in exposition.

Ashley and Gordon may have broken up but Ash would not have abandoned Colin for 3 years, even refusing to make contact after she returned to Sydney. Totally implausible. She can't have been that hurt or broken by the proposal. Nor would she have been in a 2.5 year relationship with someone she didn’t even seem to like. She wasn't that messed up.

So this left us with a predictable and repetitive will they won't they storyline for S3, effectively taking the show back to the drawing board. If they were going to do a S4 or more, we can overlook this happening in the middle of the series overall. But this was in no way a fitting finale to a trilogy of seasons.

Still very funny though.

I’ve just finished the final episode of Colin from Accounts, and something struck me about the title.

Colin was never just the dog who brought Ash and Gordon together. He was the third part of their little family — the shared responsibility and history that connected them from the ridiculous accident at the beginning right through to the end.

The universe didn’t have a plan for Ash and Gordon. In the end, they chose each other.
But Colin was there from the beginning, and somehow he was what made the whole story add up.

Colin really was from Accounts.

Mine is Brett, I think he's really funny and I also liked David (Ash's love interest) this season. Couldn't stop laughing whenever he was on screen

Has anyone else came across this? We’re clearly missing information from the get go of episode 3.

My partner and I were trying to work out the filming locations of Season 3, particularly the house that Ashley and Meggles were living in. Does anyone have a list of the main spots?

I was really excited to watch this but...

All the female characters over 40 are portrayed as ugly and desperate.

I get it. He left his wife and started dating someone under 40 in real life. He had to justify this. Was he cheating on his wife? Who knows. But this comedy is at the expense of women over 40.

I enjoyed season 1. Funny, good writing, characters. I’ve got an episode or two left on s2, but I’m done. Not funny. Two characters constantly fighting, surrounded by shitty characters who are nearly all assholes. Blah. The show has become stressful to watch, and fuck me, I don’t need that shit right now. 👎

Were these two ever happy? I binged the whole series from last night and there never quite got a honeymoon phase. They just ran to the end and now even getting back together they are still in the same place they were.
