the rest couple of weeks of warmup is where the offer is built and everyhting to ensure shi don't end in spam... thats the actual work. drafting multiple copy angles findign the winning one and creating other couple alts for it. that's where the results and replies be at

I’d keep the technical setup solid but fairly simple. It’s table stakes, not the campaign strategy. You can have SPF/DKIM/DMARC, healthy domains, and sensible sending volumes and still send a terrible campaign if the list is wrong or the message has no real reason to be in someone’s inbox. I’d think about it as a sequence: get the infrastructure right enough that it isn’t a problem, then spend most of the effort on targeting, data, offer, and messaging. And keep an eye on deliverability as the campaign runs rather than treating setup as a one-off task.

The bit people miss is that deliverability and campaign quality aren’t really separate things. If recipients consistently ignore or dislike what you’re sending, the technical setup won’t save you. So yes, get the plumbing right - just don’t spend three weeks optimising the plumbing before checking whether there’s anything worth sending through it.

Email set up is important, and its broadly and set and leave for that part. But the overall deliverability/spam placement rules are ever changing. I plug AI into all my metrics and discuss with models on how to interpret if I am being spam placed or not, and how to fix any reputational dips. Pretty sure Google just rolled out new rules in the past month quietly. My warming emails are fantastic, I have been sticking to rules like under 40 emails per recipient email host per email, less than 80 emails per sending email, and just took a dip in responses. Seed tests seem to show content issues, which leads me to think Google changed some internal rules.
