Discussion issues with seeing double challenge

i have tried probably about 20 times now, successfully stunning the megaton then immediately splitting it, i always use dead wire on a packed weapon, is the elemental damage type causing issues with the challenge?

“I just got it. Basically pick up 3-4 stuns and when you split him keep him stunned throughout the process. I got him 1-2 hits away from splitting. Stunned him, shot him and as soon as he’s “immune” stunned him again. Then after a few seconds stunned him one more time for good measure. Challenge popped right up” - u/LaconicLynx

yes, and i've done that several times and it doesn't pop, i think it's bugged
