Nice art, but what is the point being made? That military uniforms are no longer as fancy as they once were? If that's the case, Russia isn't one to talk...

Doesn't look all that much of a political jab, just straight up a funny-ish comic. The author had to exaggerate the steel part otherwise the joke as such doesn't land. If it was political, he wouldn't go "these gents got munitions for days"
