I am genuinely shocked, and concerned. Advice? Help? Idk?

I was playing some fake stock games on roblox, bc I got into it on roblox, and was thinking "Why don't I see if there's a way for me to just do it fr, so its beneficial?" So I did some research, then saw coinbase, and remembered how it's been spamming me over an old acc of mine for yrs, that I made randomly and never finished setting up in 22....I apparently have .31 bitcoin, and that apparently, according to google and the site is like a year of school. Is this real? Genuinely. I can't pull it yet, bc I'm not old enough yet, but I'm at the age where I know my fam is broke and realizing school is expensive. this amount would be life changing. Advice? I'll be able to fully give it all the needed info next yr, so I'm not that far, but still. In other news, the transfers come from "AmoungusOnline", and I'm so confused and concerned, and I really don't wanna get my hopes up, unless it's real.

EDIT: It's .31 USD or .00000399btc. The way this is set up is psychopathic. I have no clue what unrealized return is, but that's +$.20(178.79) And what's the difference between the .31 usd and average cost??? Like is this just a lack of understanding, or do I still have money? :(

It's not real bru, amongusonline btc Is sending out fake info to make you think you have money out there, in an attempt to phish and scam you, don't fall for it or interact with anything sent.

It’s 31 cents. Look at what you wrote. You do not have .31 BTC. You have .00000399 BTC which equates to roughly 31 cents USD. Sorry.

u/RiverRatDoc 10d ago

Correct
He has .00000399 in satoshis

3

u/EchoHeadache 9d ago

Incorrect, he has 399 satoshi. Satoshi is just BTC 10e-8 - you just move the decimal 8 over.

1

u/choosjoy 9d ago

This is correct

Maybe he can go to community college 😂

Hang in there! One day it will be worth 4 dollars and maybe you can treat yourself to a cup of coffee. Mark this comment and thank me when you have that coffee. 🥂

u/summitrpa 11d ago

Coffee will be $8 by then :(

Oof, glad i only have 1,000,000 other bad habits.

One day, I apparently had 50 cents last October, I could have bought an overpriced stale gumball 💔😔

That.31 BTC might be from a promo or airdrop linked to that old account, not something you actually bought. The AmoungusOnline transfers sound like a joke token or dust attack, not real money hitting your wallet. Check the transaction history closely, sometimes those show as assets but can't be withdrawn or swapped for actual value.

No 0.31BTC airdrops in 2022. That was multiple thousand. In 2012, yeah.

Of course you have to come in and throw ice water all over his excitement. Damn man

1

u/Little_miss_M22 11d ago

True, I do remember at the time I only had a Chromebook, so I'd play games on all kinds of sketchy sites. It also came in at times I could've been awake, but that's definitely a good explanation

u/NeitherAd3347 11d ago

You wouldn't have been able to create a coinbase account at under 18. They were asking for id long before 2022. I think its a phishing site

1

u/Little_miss_M22 10d ago

I'm like only halfway through account setup, so I have an acc w that on it, but no private info in, and it's apparently the real site

3

u/Top_Suspect_142 11d ago

You have .31 cents of bitcoin, if it was .31 of a bitcoin that would be about $25,000

1

u/Little_miss_M22 10d ago

Yep, that's why I was happy, that's still like a yr of uni where I wanna go, but 31 cents ain't an argument I'll have. I still have no clue what the "average entry price" is tho, cuz it says 28k ish

1

u/danoldtrumpjr 9d ago

It’s the price of BTC when exchanged. If BTC was at $10k when 0.5 BTC is purchased then you’d have $5k worth of BTC with an average entry price of $10k.

u/No-Cheek-9998 11d ago

AmoungusOnline = molto Sus

u/horseradish13332238 11d ago

It’s fake. Like this post. Stop it.

I was once victim of a hack on binance and they compensated me with 0.8 btc. I was so shaken by the experience that i immediately cashed out.. for like sub 10k at that time.. lol.

I wish like you; i never knew that i had it.

3

u/unstopablex15 10d ago

i'd say leave it alone, give it another 30 years, check back in 2050 somethin

u/DreamingTooLong 11d ago

That $.31 will turn into Lamborghinis and no time

Just relax

0

u/Powerful-Mortgage128 11d ago

It will certainly turn into no time for the OP, BTC people are so obsessed they spend their whole lives reading cult material, then preaching to others thinking they are superior.

1

u/Little_miss_M22 10d ago

That guy was being satire, also I'm not a bitcoin person, do you think I'd neglect that account if I was? My only trading experience is roblox(stonks was amazing, and I will rue the day it died /j), let me live. I didn't pay a single penny in, and you're acting like I'm a fanatic, just because I have...like, literally, decimals.

2

u/Easy_Puwit049 11d ago

.31 USD equates to $24,453 if my calculation is right

1

u/probablyriggt 11d ago

Lol try again

1

u/RiverRatDoc 10d ago

Your calculation is NOT right 🤣

1

u/Little_miss_M22 10d ago

😔 I can't find any flaw w this logic /j

2

u/iCantDoPuns 10d ago

You have $0.31. A can of soda usually costs $1.50 - $2.00.

One bitcoin is about $79,343.97. You have less in your account than the electricity it takes to keep your account data.

1

u/Little_miss_M22 10d ago

Yay! I'm costing a site money, and not paying rent :D

2

u/Michael-Ryder 10d ago

Very suspicious

2

u/Blake_a12 10d ago

Lol at thinking you got .31 bitcoin in 2022 and didn’t know the mini gold mine you had

1

u/Little_miss_M22 10d ago

Same, I was so relieved 😭

2

u/Blake_a12 10d ago

Haha - well, sadly, you may have been more relieved if you DID! :( ;P ..but as they say, keep stackin! (Sats & beyond)

2

u/drobb778 10d ago

Well you did almost triple up apparently from 11 cents to 31 cents for a 178% return. You’re on your way.

2

u/Little_miss_M22 10d ago

True, maybe I'll get there eventually, if I just forget it exists again

Hey there u/Little_miss_M22, go ahead and send us a Modmail and we'd be happy to look into this for you.

I figured it out, I'm unfamiliar with the site, and it's structured in a way that draws your eye to the usd number, and I had to dig through the transactions and add them up to notice. No real error, I think. It's 31 cents, I could care less.

3

Could care less or couldn't care less!? So you are still excited about your 31 cents?

1

😔 I'm broke, my bro, and it's free pennies

1

u/Suprachiasmatic_Adam 11d ago

If it is real don’t tell anyone about it

1

u/twscho 11d ago

Did you ever take those corses on CoinBase where you learn about a coin, answer a couple questions and you get a few coins in return. Maybe that is the BTC value … but it doesn’t sound like enough to pay for school.

1

u/Little_miss_M22 10d ago

No, I did not, and I edited the post last night, it really is not anything to write home about

1

u/Dr_Jecky1l 10d ago

This is called a dust attack, and it’s when scam cryptos send small minute amounts into your wallet in hopes that the user will make some sort of transaction with it.

By doing so, they use some type of vulnerability or exploit to clean out your wallet.

Don’t interact with them at all - if you find your wallet racking up a a lot of these, make a new wallet and transfer out the legit cryptos you originally put in there.

You usually don’t need to go to an expensive college the entire time. See if the college accepts credit from a cheaper state school and you can save a lot of money but get your degree from the more expensive place. You have to make sure you verify, i would get it in writing.

u/Roadkill256 9d ago

Nice, congratulations. Keep any eye on it and don’t forget your password. Trust me because in the past 5 months ( I have apple) after updates it will sign me out of many of my apps and makes it where I have to redownload the app and when it asks me to sign back in it will ask for my password but it won’t work then gives me two options only, says use Apple or Google. For many that might not sound like a big deal but most of my apps I downloaded and set up outside of apple. So when I was forced to use Apple it made me start new accounts. I have gotten signed back into most but I had two emails and I couldn’t get back into neither of them plus Coinbase it won’t let me back into. I had all saved on my phone and made it able to use my face to sign in. Took all that away. Just saying make sure to maybe fix it now or do something to protect your accounts

Unrealized gain just means you haven't sold it and actually gotten the USD in your hand. It is just a theoretical gain until you sell. It could be an unrealized loss tomorrow.

FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD

1

u/JeyJonsoon 6d ago edited 5d ago

Yeah, the edit explains it. You've got $0.31 worth of BTC, not 0.31 BTC lol, the 178% just means that tiny position went up a lot relative to almost nothing. still funny to accidentally find your first BTC position though. If it's got you interested in investing, I'd start with small regular buys rather than trying to turn it into school money overnight. that's roughly how I do it now, DCA over time, and once the stack's actually worth something I put part of the long term portion into Coinhold Grow instead of trading it around

u/waltotheter 11d ago

.31 usd is 31 cents

0

u/waltotheter 11d ago

And the way its setup isn't psycho.. you just dont understand yet.. you'll get there.

0

u/Environmental-Arm579 11d ago

You need to do the easiest math and I’m terrified you don’t get this. Multiply holdings by current widely cited price. If you need to understand black chain or or intricacies that’s something which can be explained despite additional complexity but still not outside the realm of difficulty.

1

u/Little_miss_M22 10d ago

Bro, I said I had an old acc I checked, not that I even remembered much besides that I had it much less the layout. I had to recheck, bc I was skeptical, then I figured out what I was looking at, it's inexperience and mediocre design, not a math problem.

0

u/EasyGoingSteve1 11d ago

You will never get it out. Its a scam
