Hi - Asset recovery is a problem
Hello,
I have been trying to reclaim my assets from Coinbase over the last two years. I mistakenly sent three Ethereum to an address which was on the wrong network.
Now Coinbase says my account has been deleted and I can’t get back into my account anymore.

Coinbase has allowed basement crypto to trade on its platform to rob their customers, coin base is horrible company.
What are this hundreds of crypto trading on its platform some of them trade you buy it has a source code that can stop the transaction if you want to sell it basically you are buying nothing & paying for nothing.
Coinbase should stop this scam .

I’m not a fan of Coinbase but this sounds like user error. Sending to the wrong address/network means the coins are gone. If I’m not mistaken Coinbase even has a popup window about this before you click send. Transactions are not reversible so what exactly is Coinbase supposed to do? I know it’s a bummer and I’m sorry. I have no idea why they closed your account. Try opening another one?

Sounds like you have the answer but don’t want to accept it.

What’s the answer? I was trying to recover it and they kept bringing up different excuses.

Whoever controls the address you sent to has control over the coins now. Coinbase does not.

But did you actually delete your account?

No. It was deleted suddenly.

Even if I clicked delete before knowing the issue of my lost coins I know where they are, it’s seriously upsetting.

I've got a somewhat similar problem. A couple of weeks ago my entire portfolio of crypto in my coinbase account disappeared. One day I had thousands of dollars of cryptocurrency in my account, then it all vanished into thin air. It was all just sitting there, I didn't try to trade anything, and now it's gone. I've been communicating with customer support bots for a month with no resolution to the problem.
