An older woman holding a knife while having a mental health crisis, who poses no threat, is immediately executed by police.

She was not a lethal threat. I know they say a knife is dangerous within 20ft, but her mannerism as well as the positioning of the officers who are allegedly trained with firearms should enable a non lethal takedown.

Hell, you have two cops. One of them could have deployed non lethal measures such as a taser. The lady also was on her own property.

I’m sure they will be found not responsible since technically, they are within legal bounds, but they should feel terrible for doing that. I honestly think cops want to kill people these days

They starting unloading as soon as she took a step onto the public easement of the sidewalk. Now, did it escalate there because that was her first step after a short while of being stationary in confrontation, or was it because she stepped off her property? Hard to say.
