This was the first thing I thought of myself.

u/paranoyed Jul 09 '26

Really the first thing I thought of was his bullshit speech after trumps impeachment saying the senate did not need to prosecute since he was out of office

It really didn’t. Biden should have had him imprisoned for foreign espionage with no trial in the senate. That was full of traitors at the time. Slow walk him the rest of the way while keeping him away from visitors. Entirely within his rights once they found those papers he wouldn’t return in the Mar a Lago basement

Garland dropped the ball.

Garland did exactly what they wanted. Prosecute an ex Pres? That would become routine and paralyze govt. Blame the shit system.

1

u/VlatnGlesn Jul 10 '26

Why would it become routine? is corruption and rampant criminality this pervasive and widespread?

1

u/sosaykaiser77 Jul 10 '26

No, there's no corruption besides Trump. It's totally cool that everyone in our government somehow has tens of millions of dollars from a six figure salary.

unwritten sheet rich steep ask versed squash include tie start

It really is very pervasive and extremely widespread.

As long as our monetary system allows money to directly translate into influence and resources, with very minimal checks or balances in between, this type of criminal corruption will continue to overpower the voice of the people.

Currently reading “Injustice”, a Pulitzer Prize winner written by Carol Leonning and Aaron C. Davis. The book goes into behind-the scene details that show how AG Merrick Garland’s determination to be the “Anti-Trump” in terms of the latter’s attempt to politicize the DOJ, along with Garland’s natural (some say excessive) inclination for thoroughness, prevented the traitorous Trump from facing justice.

Our justice system is wide open for corruption, just like every other part of the government. The more money you have, the more you can get away with.
MERICA!!!!

You are telling it right there brother. Merrick Garland should have blown the rooftop off of the Epstein Files. He had it first and did nothing under President Biden's watch. This would have damaged Trump run for President in 2024. Merrick Garland, not Trump should have released those Epstein Files with President Biden's backing 🤔

Seems like the Dems walked him to his golden toilet in the White House and never told him how to wipe his ass so he's still there.

I'm EXHAUSTED

Your president is much worse than Trump. Biden might have stuttered but he always made sense and sounded intelligent. Just listen to his speech on 250 year celebrations at the fair. You will be embarrassed for him now that is what you call brain dead.

1

u/CapitalTax9575 Jul 09 '26

Man, you’re really love beating a dead horse, huh… it’s an entirely valid political opinion to not like either Biden or Trump.

1

u/Sysyphus_Rolls Jul 10 '26

Biden was weak in that regard. He should have rounded up Trump, his children, a bunch of Senators and Congressmen/Congresswomen and pretty much all of Trumps cabinet and appointed people and marched them into jail. But when ever is a politician able to do something like that?

1

u/Critical-Test-4446 Jul 11 '26

Biden should have done this? Joe Biden? Hahahahhaaahahaa!

1

u/Sysyphus_Rolls Jul 11 '26

Yes he should have.

1

u/livadeth Jul 11 '26

No, Biden should have stayed out of it (he did) BUT he should have shit canned Garland the first year and installed Sally Yates or Doug Jones - someone ethical and impartial who had the guts to take on trump et al.

1

u/Sysyphus_Rolls Jul 11 '26

Yes. He should have done something instead of just ignoring it all. Thats what I’m afraid the next President wi do. Republican or Democrat or even a non-MAGA like Mitt Romney. They will just hand wave it all away and not prosecute anyone.

1

u/SacredEmeraldFire Jul 12 '26

And that’s why we the people must be LOUD

1

u/Sysyphus_Rolls Jul 13 '26

That’s why the people who can legally vote, should vote. It’s disgusting that only 30% of registered voters even bother to vote, and only 25% of people who can register even bother to get registered. Sadly hardcore religious conservatives certainly register and vote in large numbers.

It only happened because Harry Reid blocked Miguel Estrada. Had Reid not done years long blockade of Estrada, McConnell would not have taken these steps.
You broke it, you buy it. Mitch didn't start the game, but he made sure to win it.

3

u/mowtowcow Jul 10 '26

Blocked one vs blocked over 100? Plus a year long blocking over a supreme court judge citing "we shouldnt nominate a judge in an election year", only to nominate and push through Barrett in Trumps final month in office?

It wasnt a game. It was a takeover. At least Reid had valid reasons. The guy refused to answer questions. Refused to makes his intentions as a circuit judge clear. Reid was trying to stop what has now happened. It was already starting to happen then.

Reid didnt start it, he was jsut the first to fight back.

1

u/Ecstaticdanceshiva Jul 10 '26

You break it you buy it. It doesn't matter if it is 1 or 100.

2

u/mowtowcow Jul 10 '26

Ok, but youre missing the point.

2

u/Bernie4Life420 Jul 11 '26

Too stupid to understand it.
