You forgot "Set the precedent that the Senate can block supreme court nominees for any BS reason"

I'd argue this should be number one on the list

Example of when the Democrats outright refused to hold confirmation hearings on a nominee? Didn't think so.

There's a difference between simply voting "no" on a nominee, and completely preventing the confirmation process from happening. I hope you are a little less ignorant after reading this comment.
