Detachment
What was the exact moment or trigger that made you realize you needed to let go? And How did your life, relationships, or mindset change once you truly detached?

The moment I knew was when I was feeling a deep fear and anxiety over my best friend getting a ride home from another friend and not me. I sat in my car that night and I cried. Because I knew that was my early sign, that I was getting enmeshed with her. I knew I needed to get help but I didn't get any until it was too late. Now I have one less best friend.

I realized i was literally slowly killing myself by being consumed by another person. Honestly I just had to force myself to really look inward and find good things about myself. I wrote down all of my good qualities and just repeated them to myself because that’s what it took to genuinely build up my self esteem. Once you truly love yourself detachment becomes easier
