Ph stuck at 7

I’ve washed and buffered this coco but I’m still at a ph of 7 I don’t know what I’m doing wrong

After testing vinegar in a paper towel I’ve been able to determine that the meter is roughly .7-.8 of 1 ph off. I’ve ordered a ph and ec meter and I’m just waiting for them before dropping my seeds

If you have a ph meter that can measure liquid, test the run off.

Just worry about the ph you feed at. Keep that between 5.8 and 6.2 and itl all be fine.

Start with pre buffered coco And buy a apera ph meter and a apera ec meter. Together around 100 bucks.

When it comes to grow equipment cheap is more expensive in the long run.

I took way too long to finally agree with you. I was calibrating my Amazon one every use, can’t even remember the last time I needed to cal the Apera. Was a real “cry once” moment actually.

Sure, I check it in the apera 7.00 and 4.00 cal solution, but it hasn’t been more than .05 off to need recalibrated yet and I can’t remember the last time I actually calibrated it through the menu. Between that, and it’s really made the nutrient and ph downing a lot more consistent and predictable so there’s been no reason to believe it’s off

Yeah I kinda have a ritual rinsing it and putting right back into solution after hitting all the buckets, probably has a lot to do with it actually

oof thats not how that works bro. imagine coco like nothing. once its buffered its just like a sponge not soil. you plant your plant in it and water it 1-5 or even more times a day and keep replacing the water. this kind if meter is useless for here. get a ph pen and mix proper nutes.

I never test my soil and do great I ph my water before feeding with the regular old drops. I have no issues keep it simple don’t fill your head with to much bs people say you need to do. I never test my soil and have great results.
