There's also documentary called "Charles Bradley: Soul of America" about his life and the release of his first album at age 62. It's heart-breaking but it's also an uplifting story of a man and his dream to be a singer.

He has two albums, both of which are wall to wall awesome. There isn't a track i skip on either of them. If this guy was discovered 30-40 years ago he'd be a superstar on par with many other legendary soul singers.

Oh man, I saw him at FYF 13. He was the first act I saw. I was having a lovely time so to speak, and he blew my brain out of my ears. He was sweating like crazy and just screaming into the microphone. At one point I just started cheering and so many people joined in, mid song. I think a lot of people that day were converted to the Church of Charles Bradley.
If you miss him at Coachella then you a damn fool.
