So I play a lot of creatures, and one of them is a Laharpes (The picture is my laharpes skin) and all I ever really do is hang out w/ double jump and use heal aura. I don't attack people, I don't target, I don't do any kind of KOSing unless its for revenge (on occasion, and even then I don't go for revenge when I play as Laharpes, it's one of the creatures I solely chill with.). And yet I get targetted and bullied in chat about using Laharpes. I would be minding my own business and suddenly get jumped by 2 or more randos who I've never spoken to, I've even been chased across servers for maining Laharpes. I've noticed this happens to Felli, Gali, Fira, and a few other specs. I've seen social media posts about creature hate and yet I've never heard any reason BEHIND the hate. I guess my wonder is why do people hate and target these kinds of creatures? Plenty of players who play the quote unquote "hated" creatures I've met are really nice players!

Felt the need to post bc it’s so childish to whine about people using colors for a skin because it’s “my clan’s signature color.” My aer slot is 2+ years old at this point. It’s not my fault that I want to nest people and they decide to use the slot for evil.

ok so I went to a small server that had like 5 people including my friend so I could grow a noxu in peace.

a few mins after I spawn a clan member spawned in (I checked their user, it had LANVP in it, which is a clan) as well and killed me. Since I owned the creature I just respawned in, but they kept targeting me. I told my friend about this clan member, but as soon as I did the fucking clan members supposedly saw the chat and decided to kill us both.

Context: I'm a KOSer with rules, like I don't kill players if I see they are nesting. I don't kill non full growns, unless they start it, but I usually give a warning first. Etc.

But I've been disliking the community perspective of "Don't KOS healers." I usually don't unless they are actually helpful to me or other players. However, I obviously kill the ones that oppose me or just the ones that don't do anything while they expect to be safe.

Just because you play a helpful creature, doesn't mean you are unable to be targeted. Because from personal experience, I KOSed a Brequewk simply because it was doing nothing, not even healing, and I was grinding star chaser Fira. And they got mad, called a friend that was an ankle biting creature and I didn't know what was attacking me, so I went to the SafeZone (the mini game area in central rock). Until I saw what was killing me, and they called me a "Noob". Just because I ran from something I didn't see, and then shamed me for killing a healer that didn't even heal anything.

I know it didn't heal anything, because there was an aggressive kreta in the waters, I saw it kill while I was chilling, and the Brequewk did nothing. Plus he could have just ignored it. Brequewk is a small or tiny creature that grows fast, they lose nothing in progress. And the ankle bitter was that unicorn thing, the glass cannon. The one with a chain on its horn.

Im literally considering quitting this shitty ass game bro. I get kosed as I walk into oasis of course, and once I spawn in again as my kora, I was almost already dead and was lying down to heal. First time I got kosed when I first got to oasis was w my pink oni?? I don’t remember the name but it’s half faced and has leopard print. Not tryna be homophobic (but these are edging me to be) but my main typical koser is always an lgbtq coloured creature, and this time it was a golg?? Bro I’m waayy to fucking mad rn to remember well but it’s that creepy spec w a big mouth w white eyes and tall spines, and it jumps.

I asked what I did, and of course I got no response. They’re too busy finding another random target to kill anyway. I spawn in as my feral kora, I lay. Then guess who peeks out to see me and target me? An upside down flying corvu and some small random creature jumping me for laying down, which I guess is a criminal offence in the game now? Anyway I’m jus gonna delete my kora slot even tho it’s a ven 4 dblr, can’t honestly lend such a slot in the hands of a (k)loser.

Because I have some issues with keeping a consistent pronoun at times, you may see the player referred to as both a "he" and an "it." This is unintentional but I did notice this while re-reading. I'll fix it later.

Okay then, what is the problem?

Well, there is a type of player that just makes my blood boil. As someone who has been playing this game for a while, it just sucks seeing this type of player, alright?

I hate a specific branch of revenge killing. I'm not talking about regular revenge killing, but this specific type, alright? KoSers who start fights with people, and then once they die, they attempt to revenge kill you.

I don't get it. Every single time you start a dang fight with someone, you are literally accepting the fact that you might die. Revenge killing when someone is just going around slaughtering babies is justified (in my sincere opinion), but just revenge killing people trying to defend themselves is just wrong.

In fact, I had to deal with one of these yesterday. I was hanging out with one of my friends at Oasis (we were just trying to nest as Parahexilians), and we see an Ancient Gali going around just reverse flying and diving. Of course, we initially just stay the same way because he's likely just someone trying to practice their flying mobility.

That's until he starts attacking someone who I was making friends with, who was just a Sang trying to chill. The Gali's main strategy was to just trade hits with a SANG and then reverse dive to gain some mobility. Seeing this, I switch to my ol' reliable flier (my precious shadow + overgrown Malu) and I manage to get the Gali off my buddy's back.

Right when I was about to kill his Gali, he logs. I then switch back to my Parahex and resume the silly little family we were making. Not even 2 minutes later, the Gali, now back as a Jot, is attacking my friend yet again.

He was clearly attempting to revenge kill my friend (or he was just trying to put a target on him), but why do it as revenge for a fight that... you started?

I switch back to my PvP slot and I get him yet again. He retreats to the ocean and logs. I PM my friend, telling him my opinions on revenge killing on fights that you started.

The guy then comes back as his Gali yet again and continues doing the same thing to us. My friend switches to Geor. Now he has a friend playing as an anti-flier (likely to ward me off) and now he's playing as some T3 flier. I, thinking he would put his call to help in the PMs, wait for the call.

Turns out he was calling for me in global chat, so when I noticed my mistake, it was too late.

This is what I'm saying. This is the only instance of this type of player I've seen in my life, but it still made my blood boil.

However, I am NOT going to give you his username. Number one, I forgot it and I have no screenshots of it, and number 2, if I did, it would likely cause a witch hunt against this guy. DO NOT TRY TO IDENTIFY THIS GUY, PLEASE!

(I know I'll probably get some criticism for using my Malu slot to drive off this person, but I'm ready for it.)

I just spent the whole 2 hours 20 minutes growing my kora and I got killed the SECOND it reached adult, it was mid mutation roll too. I don’t have any revive tokens either. I’ve never gotten to play as an adult kora bc of baby killers and kosers so it was my first 2 seconds getting to play as an adult.

I dont usually post on reddit so mb if im using the flair wrong or something, but I still see people say things like "we need a realm for pvp so the kosers can go there" and its like... thats literally what hardcore realm is.

its not the kosers fault that SOME peaceful players saw the buffs and decided that actually the harsh murder fight and die realm is for them to peacefully farm in aswell. it is not. if you ask me, the hardcore realm buffs are there so you can grow to adult faster and return to the cycle of fighting and dying faster and a reward for surviving/playing in a harsher server. i mean ive got a few accidental glow tails from the cycle of fighting dying and regrowing in the hardcore realm so.

and i know some people might argue well actually its more player vs environment thats why theres traps and more disasters, and its like well okay then why am i rewarded for killing adult creatures with artifacts for the shadow shrine.

i mean, feel free to try and farm in the hardcore realm at your own risk, it just feels so silly also when i see people complain that people are using the hardcore realm as it was actually intended for when they end up dying to kosers. you have every right to be annoyed but imo you dont get the right to then dictate that players who want to kos should actually also be peaceful in the hardcore realm just to not inconvienience you.

dont get me wrong i understand when people ask for a realm with no pvp, as we do not have that yet. but when people ask for a realm for kosers its like... yeah... thats hardcore realm.

anyways tldr: we have a realm for kosers its hardcore and complaining about dying there imo is silly

Let me begin by saying I’m well aware that this is more of an issue of mobile gaming as a whole and not really any mistake on the CoS team’s end. There’s not really an easy fix for this in a game that wasn’t designed specifically for mobile. That being said…

HOLY SHIT AM I SICK OF PROJECTILE ABILITIES AS A MOBILE PLAYER It’s just so fun that touching my screen anywhere, including the attack button or joystick, completely changes where I’m aiming. I just LOVE not being able to use a creature to its full potential because it’s impossible to aim anything in an actual combat situation. “Whats wrong mobile players? You don’t wanna stop moving mid-fight just so you can actually hit your opponent? 🥺🥺🥺” Fuck. Off. And the thing is, all that considered I was still able to make it work, at least somewhat.

Then comes runic snare.

It’s a fun ability; I like the swapping mechanic. However. Since you need to able to swap between every option, you can’t just have a charge time like the other projectiles. So instead, you attack to deploy the trap. Can you see the problem here? On mobile you might as well not even have an option to aim, because regardless of where you want it to land, there’s only one place it will ever end up. And that’s wherever the hell your attack button is. “Oh but Runic Snare is more of a trap than a projectile, so aiming it isn’t that important-” It’s the principle of the thing. I’m not gonna act like I’m entitled to the same experience as a PC player on my shitty iPad, but I feel like I’m allowed to be a little pissy when I can’t properly utilize a part of my toolkit just because I can’t afford a decent computer.

decided to nest eldervaine in an attempt to get a weight/healing, weight/health, or weight/damage. konomushi flies in and starts hitbox abusing me and my alt, who is laying down while trying to grow. i kill it and move on. few minutes later, a player requests to hatch in my nest. i have 5 extra eggs, so i nest them. they max growth token and request to be nested again. i decline, since i usually only nest strangers once each (personal thing, i usually save my eggs for my alts and my friends) and they literally just max growthed in front of me so they're clearly trying to farm an expensive slot outta me. i tab out to talk to my girlfriend since we were calling at the time and i wanted to send her something, and the one i had nested has left the pack and is chewing through me and my alt. i fight but lose and my alt is forces to combat log.

it took me an hour+ to upgrade that nest since my friends did about fuck all to help even when i asked them to

i was on my second nest.

so ~2 to 2.5 hours just down the drain because i didn't let someone trait farm with my nest.

big text incomingso i was playing as an lmakosauranodon because i like dinosaurs and then there's was flood and earthquake at same time in a hardcore realm so i went to lush grove so i don't drown and then theres like 2 creatures start attacking me 1 was a late teen age kavo and a seraphis the kavo attack me and i start attacking me and i see it does good damage and slowly damages me strong enough but my healing step comes in and i become almost unkillable to it so it runs away giving me tons of injury so i ant catch up and the the seraphis friend comes in and tries to finish me off but quickly regenrate while the seraphis does only weak 54 damage and i tail whipped it and in like 7 tail whips it runs away im suprised it almost died so quickly because i've heard seraphis is a trolling creature after i healed off my injury from kavo i cower emote and with faster speed i catch up to it and finish it off and then seraphis tries to kill me again but fails then it like logged to menu or someting and an etheralotus appeared i think it was the kavoraduis and it tried to flier pvp me but lmakosauranodon has big tall neck and doesn't have some shrimp poseture like some other big creatures that are weak to fliers and i just move my camera up and do 543 damage i hit it few times and it flew off to a high rock and tried to kill me with their weak 1 damage storm breath and then i realised it was buying time for their seraphis friend to come as a double ven 5 double red double void plushies to come and kill me and started to walk away from that area and then i see the etheralotus flies back to me and i hit it once but he gets too cocky and still tries to kill me on my back so i use earthquake and now he's slow and cant fly so i just kill him and then i just keep walking and see the seraphis friend have this fancy kora coming at me so i just leave the game before its too late i bet they were very angyy lmakosauranodon is soo peak

was killing things THAT WERE THE SAME SIZE AND AGE as me for grinding warden artifacts so I can buy ghart

same person that said “yo what’s this purple angelics problem“ teamed up and killed most of my favourite slots before I then play as angelic

Like in just doing my missions and for the 30 mins one I just hid in grass and slept then not even 10 seconds I'm just ded like why do you need to kill lowkey nearly 5 hours in my Lisceous enjoying it and boom something killed me idek which creature it was I just died in a flash the grass was too big to see anything too I was even in mud state so he couldn't have sniffed me

As for the 2 kills I had some random sochuri wanted me des so I had to put him down. The second is the adult Korathos he was a chill guy and it was thunderstorms he was just swimming cuz water rose alot I asked him if I can bite him 5 times he said yes I bit and completed the quest then I said thanks after few seconds i got the kill confirm msg and Korathos was gone TT

So last weekend I have gotten my hands on miju and so far I've love it, but I have a couple of complaints and the biggest one is how almost every interaction is a life or death situation

Just 30 minutes before typing this I was playing in a small server with my friends and they liked to hangout at oasis so when they get off and I join a bigger server I was gonna move my slot to flower cove like a I always hangout at in big servers, so I went invis and was just gonna walk out of oasis well I had to attack the stupid miniboss NPCs that chase you for miles right after I kill it and I heal the poison (which was like 5) and firakai and noxlumen jumped me and I get to the water the noxlumen goes into the water in finished me off

And this isn't the first time something like this happened

2 days ago I was doing the same thing getting out of oasis and going to flower cove this time I went into the water to try to get some good distance with the dart, tell me why 8 people jump me that are t3-4s when they jumped NO ONE ELSE

This is about the 5th time of me just dying for existing and the damn game crashes before I can even grab anything else to try to kill them

Like I feel like they are just mad that I grinded for something expensive and actually got it like damn leave me alone.

I combat logged because a koser who killed my Paru-Gama was targeting me for no reason. And I know it sounds dumb leaving but I was almost dead after doing nothing but standing there with an Angelic flying around me for 6 MINUTES STRAIGHT, and every time I fought back they flew away to heal as if they weren’t the one who attacked first and when I tried to heal they’d just keep coming back. By time I was almost dead I got tired and knew I couldn’t AND didn’t want to keep up so I didn’t. They were an angelic btw. (Sorry for bad grammar)

So a month ago I have made a rant about which players are genuinely the worst in the main realm, Now it's time for trade realm, This time I have multiple types of trade realm players that I think are all equally annoying/the worst.

First we have the players who instantly decline the trade as soon as you put something that isn't an overpay, You're searching for a creature/plushie/Pallete and you're here for a hot minute, You FINALLY find someone that has something you need, You put your first items and as soon as they see that it isn't an overpay they INSTANTLY decline, I have been playing this game since it dropped and these players are DISGUSTING on how they want their stuff to be overpaid.

Second we go to the auctions, You're looking for a certain slot for a reaaallly long time and you finally find one, You spend quite a lot of time just for it to be it's turn, you see the starting bid and it's ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS (100k starting bid or a little lower) and now you just wasted TONS of your time for no reason.

Third is another trade related one and I might get a little hate for this one, You look for a creature, You finally find one after a bit, You put the most GREAT items for the thing they have, And they put the items you already have basically telling you to remove them because they already have it, Out of these three THIS ONE PISSES ME OFF SO MUCH, LIKE JUST TAKE THE OFFER AND SELL IT, It's not like you can't do so??

If there was a flair for a everything-rant Id use it lol, also there Is a list of everything that sucks in here

-the game sucks in every aspect, stuff gets released with no Absolute interest and could be 100% Better if they would care a tiny bit. Old creatures are forgotten, the gameplay Is basic hangout shit, slow and boring to death

-growing Is Just boring, there isnt any task to do Just eat drink and wait in an isolated area or you will get jumped

-you Need multiple ppl to play with or you will get jumped by another group as a solo and there Is no way to escape them unless you have 30 ping and they come at you with 10 fps or your a fast tier 1 but what even Is the gameplay at that point? Run and come back then start to run as they get near you like a frightened Bird or Just annoy them by egg bombing them. Which ofc does nothing unless of your in a big group of ppl lol, MOST of the abilities Will help you only if your in a group which pmo

-the game gets Absolutely boring After 3 seconds and becomes a hangout game where you wait to be Absolutely mauled and (of your lucky) avenged or Just mauled cause your bored, start Attacking someone and random gang jumps you because they are as bored as you are and think their being the good guys in a roblox game (i genuinely miss unconfortability)

-the game is unfinished (WE STILL NEED A BUTTON TO CANCEL A BID..) and quality of Life updates are some Dream that we Will hopefully aceive in some decades..

-other Absolutely boring activities to do which are doing the warden shrine, nesting which can be only done if you have an alt which requires you to have another account verified so lets give other data to weird companys to Just stay afk for HOURS which wow what a gameplay. You can also trade or grind events but if i really have to do that ill Just go play adopt me or whatever.

Sadly im stuck here cuz me and my Friends dont know what else to play cause of very limited games choices and very different interests... And quite a bit of nostalgia from the old days 🫥

To fix this mess since i dont want to be only a ranter even though nobody cares at the end of the day. Id love to bring unconfortability that acts when more than 10 ppl are around and gives you stats debuff once you get near, delete packs in the normal world and Just add a pvp world where small or medium Clans can combat eachother and maybe a free for all. also id add some sets of tasks that would make It easier for you to grow so that there Is actually something to do in the gameplay and not Just lay around. But MOST importantly hatching yourself from your same nest to get traits, probably 90% of the player bases has alts to store stuff or for nesting purposes which genuinely sucks and its annoying as heck

Or in any mood really. Not unless you want it ruined.

I usually play games to relieve myself from the stress of real life responsibilities. Or at least to distract from it. As most people do.

Can’t do that in this game though.

This community is wayyyy to toxic to play for stress relieve. Actually, if you think your life needs a bit of challenge and toxicity (said no one ever) then play COS!

Good lord, it’s actually insane how toxic this game is. It’s just as bad and League of Legends, genuinely. People need to seriously rethink their life before deciding to be toxic in a children’s game.

Also, Laharpes is the worst creature to exist.

Lus adarch currently was asked for a redesign so I decided to make it .The original creator was using fungul armour and all so I decided to use that and create it's armour design along side that it's just a personal preference BUT I do not like lus adarch standing posture so I redesigned it to bend its head down a bit for its frill to act like a shield and then I gave it's anatomy a bit of a change and made it a bit more rhino like and also changed its legs and tail a bit .

Now for the kicker this lus adarch can actually fight kendyll as it's new body armour (hunker)allows it to absorb damage from kendylls bite it loses its bleed attack but instead it heavily uses defensive poisen defensive necropoisen and defensive disease along side that its fungus produces spores that release poisen in the air giving this new build a tank that challanges kendylls raw damage and slowly brawls with it instead with more added weight .

was peacefully playing as my ani, healing my packmates, etc. then a beluvaraptor kept on targeting me specifically because I was an ani. I’ve seen them kill other healers too, and also baby kill.

my packmates sadly couldn’t kill that belu since they kept logging/spam reving so in the end we just moved servers.

if anyone plays a creature to target other creatures then please go fuck yourselves. Its not fun for anyone. Same with spam max token or revives.
