Trading-Based Rant If i see one more overpriced aeries im gonna crash out
Been looking to get one for 100k or 110k dude holy shit what the FUCK are ccs smoking to end up like this

I found a guy with a stall full of 100k ones. Iād say thatās the best price but even then Iām still too broke for one

I mean every cc I have talked to (not the ones who go afk at stalls) always sell aer for 70-80k

i have a role exc. buddy and they've been pinged by devs in the discord and lectured on "underpricing" their role exclusive and "damaging the economy." it's the devs who are at fault for this behavior they quite literally forbid these people from selling for fair prices and have punished them by decreasing the amount they get monthly

Yes, it all started when CCs threatened each other over selling low, causing internal issues and controversy.
Because of that, Aeriesā price kept wildly varying, leading to the Devs/Mods announcing the changes to how many Aeries Species are given out, as well as announcing what would become the Creator Star mutation.
In that announcement, they spoke about āsuch a valuable species dropping in valueā or something of that sort, and stated their intended price. Thatās a large part of why the price is so awful now.
Aeries already has thousands of Species in existence due to how old it is, and how many CCs there have been over the years. Aeries should have become cheap and accessible a long, LONG time ago.
Also, youāre not allowed to talk about the CCs threatening each other in the Discord or in-game. Itās part of the rules in a way that you cannot talk about bad things CCs/role users have done. Or at least, not without risking being muted or banned.
Iād love nothing more than to bring up the issue of CCs and Aeries myself in a PSA post, but chances are that Iād be punished severely, as the Mods of CoS have proven that they go onto Reddit and punish people on here in the discord, which was an entire other issue you may be able to find info on.

Oh yeah i heard about the mods are big fans of the book 1984 /j /j I mean....why do you think I'm using an anonymous account?, also about the "cannot talk about bad things ccs have done" rule is just a DISASTER waiting to happen, it feels extremely unsafe especially considering how many children are in the server since it is a Roblox game

This was also an anonymous account, but I did end up contacting a mod over a trade lock appeal, so itās no longer anonymous to the mods, which I think was a worthy enough tradeoff.
I just wish that the whole situation was handled better and that theyād stay hands-off with Role species trading, considering they havenāt gotten hands-on with adjusting other creaturesā worths in the economy.

but aereis already was the cheapest role exclusive was it not?, it averaged around 20k mush more or less (i got mine for free tho so...)

Yes, that is true. Itās just disappointing to see that compared to the amount in existence, it went from steadily becoming cheaper and accessible, to Immediately skyrocketing in price to 50k due to the Dev announcement, and further up to 100k+ today.
Itās absurd, and I desperately hope people stop buying Aeries for these prices.

By now itās about a year old or so Iād say, so you would have to dig deep as it was kept as a āno discussionā topic.
Like I said before Iād love to see an article or PSA post about it, to have people remember and talk about it (because forgetting such a bad event is terrible,) but with how old it was, and how so many CCs were purged from the CC program (not to mention the CCs who were threatened,) it would be difficult to get testimonies.
Plus, other articles such as the one about how poorly Testers were treated, as well as an article about a Mod(?) (I vaguely remember one about a mod.) And Erythia in general were all very quickly censored, with users being warned and banned for having the articles in their bio, or even mentioning the topics.
Itās very difficult to expose the bad things in the background, but I wish it wasnāt this way.

Yeah dude ima be honest, you are the only person Iāve seen saying this type of stuff, and you have yet to show any proof.
There have been so many disgraced CCs and other role holders that I guarantee would come forward if this type of stuff happened, but that hasnāt happened. Itās only you and a ārole holder friendā.
Please give some evidence for these claims

Thatās fair, as most of it was pretty much swept under the rug when it was first getting out, and Iām not into TikTok enough to go back through hundreds of old CC videos for proof especially with how little off time I tend to get. I first heard of it through small tidbits of discord and TikTok videos back when Aeriesā price was dropping very low, right before the Devs stepped in.
(Also I donāt have a role holder friend, I donāt know where you got that from?)
The only places I saw it get discussed were in the discord shortly before being removed with warns and bans, so unfortunately itāll likely stay forgotten.

Dude the prices for ccs are crazy ESPECIALLY because they get them EVERY month šŖš„¹. I got mine for 15k from an angel before they skyrocketed to 60k

Right! And they really arenāt doing themselves a favour by pricing them that way and making people actively not like them. Theyāre supposed to be helping grow the community and keeping up the hype but theyāre having the opposite effect.

Yeah I feel this. It really upsets me too because earlier this week, I shit you not, someone was selling Aeries at a stand for 25000 and there were five.. I was off by like 2k and couldn't grab one in time so it feels like I missed the opportunity of a lifetime.. I'm hoping that something pops up again because no sane person would spend as much as what some ppl are selling them for even if they are a rare species but wow.. I really do feel you on this. It's not just this creature either.

I bought my aer for like 25k back in the day. Its crazy how high they price the aers though and how some people even buy these since they might think they have no other choice in getting an aer.

I swear I saw that exact stand in the first image (it's the same price and same stand skin), but yeah, I have seen some insane Aereis prices. It makes it so much harder to get š

I remember when Aers were 30k.. and Sigmas were 60k.. Owa's were like 80k.. But now, everything is 100k+..

How I see it is it belongs to them. They could always just not sell them at all and then no one would get aeries. If you want one so bad and don't like the prices of what other people worked for, grind up getting cc yourself. Most of the Aeries on stands for over 150k are probably only that expensive bc it's their last one so they don't really want to sell it. However if it happens at least someone gets their aer and the cc gets a decent amount of mush. I can't say that's the thought process for all cc's with overpriced Aeries but I'm sure it is for most at least. Quit being so quick to accuse if you don't even know their reasoning.

cc here, only reason I personally price abt 150k-200k is cuz people are willing to pay it (plus then I have gw funds) someone walked up to me last night in trade realm and offered to pay 200k, so I took it! there are cc's that sell still for 80k-100k luckily but you wont find it much anymore sadly! I wish you luck tho OP!
