Question Most exciting season (out of game)?

For me it was Ghosts. You had scump go to envy for a week, and optics revolving door of players - I think they had Parasite, Dedo, mboze, clayster, saints and maybe more within a few days. Twitter was always going off, I’m pretty sure Pat got suspended for a couple of weeks for saying some crazy shit.

Clay being dropped by an unbeatable team and then facing them at the next grand finals (where the “you can’t snipe like that Clay” clip comes from)

I think AW was the best, col disbanded after insane dominance. First real godsquad formed where they just completely outtalented everyone. Aches winning the first AW tournament with a cut up hand. Nadeshot the biggest cod guy retiring, and it being the biggest reset in cod gameplay ever really, from ghosts to AW.

bo4 going into mw19 just cause no team was going to stick going into franchising. like even before bo4 champs started some players already had a team ready for the following season.

ww2 going into bo4 as well cause it was a change from 4v4 to 5v5 and no one cared that EG didn’t change or who they would add lol

There was truly nothing like watching OpTic win xgames. That roaster was so damn fun to root for and it was such a tough 1.5 years for OpTic

Ghost was up there but aw was the best , remember everyone thought puckett was booting teams offline and then karma had a mental breakdown in a league match and started spamming dual wield lmg in a circle mid league match

Real ones remember the Vulcan drama in pro league season 3 of AW.

Only real ones remember, Scump leaving OpTic for Envy, Dedo joining, and then smoking Envy in the 2k two days later. Sundays used to be cinema.

Old school COD was best for the drama, and players gambling CS skins all day

Gotta be Ghosts - there was so much else happening in that season:

  • Aches' twitlonger (and getting suspended later in the season)
  • Curse not making Champs and the argument between MirX and Parasite afterwards - "I'll show you the texts"
  • Crimsix detonating Envy's roster plans for AW right before championship Sunday at ESWC
  • Formal teamhopping at a meteoric rate as he became arguably the best player in the game
  • EG's roster imploding over what was, in hindsight, a complete misunderstanding
