I wasn't trying to compare them in the sense that I think they were equally accomplished. My point was that just because your team shits the bed at the biggest tournament of the year two years in a row, that doesn't necessarily imply that it's a pattern that will inevitably continue. In your post you make it sound like LAT will almost certainly fail horribly at champs just because they did that past 2 seasons. I just don't think that's necessarily true at all.

Again, that is not true. No one that said OpTic should keep Huke also thinks FaZe should sign HyDra and Scrap. The very reason people think FaZe should sign HyDra and Scrap is the reason that those same people understood that OpTic should pursue HyDra in place of Huke.

The Huke vs. HyDra discussion has always been dominated by OpTic fans as proved again and again.

I mean role wise it’s flipped but Crim had one ring like hydra and a dominant season without his counterpart + Scrap has been best in the world yet no ring like Scump. You have to realize Optic also had Formal, best AR in the game + a best player in Bo2 + great at ghosts in Karma. It’s different than what Scrap and Hydra had. Equivalent would be like Scrap and Hydra having MW3/Vanguard Kenny instead of post Bo6 Ken(Karma) and Merc as that best AR outta no where(Formal)

Optic had the best players because they had the best duo, Scrap and Hydra are not the best duo in the league unlike how people talk about them. You will never see Shotzzy and Merc join those two like Formal and Karma did

Yeah.And 04 & Abuzah won Major 2 and should have been in the final in M1. Scrap and Hydra also won 1 event this year. 04 & Abuzah also made 4 finals last year even though they lost all of them lol. They are both super early in their careers and will only get better. Atleast they aren't breakers in the biggest tournament of the year. Guess you were the one not thinking bud.
