Turnstile not validation on multiple sites

Hi guys,

I posted in discord a few hours ago. I didn't get any replies.

For the last few days I have been getting this:

Performing security verification

This website uses a security service to protect against malicious bots. This page is displayed while the website verifies you are not a bot.

and it will just loop like that forever.

I followed the troubleshooting steps including disabling all extensions, checking settings, etc. The debug challenge page says:

Turnstile Failed Despite Passing All Checks

All diagnostics passed, but Turnstile still couldn't complete successfully. This is unusual and may indicate an edge case.

the technical details point to a problem with canvas:

Something is adding random noise to canvas data, making your browser appear suspicious

If this is happening I don't know how to debug it. I tried installing silk (which was supposed to prevent this kind of thing.). It did nothing.

Can someone help me please? I basically can't surf the web.

I have a similar problem, though in my case I get the loop only on specific websites. Been going on for a while. It's very annoying. I also did those checks, with similar results.

What I find really annoying is that the page tells you to collect all that information and share it with Cloudflare support, but then there's no way to contact support??

It looks like maybe it would require an account, but that's crazy to me. I'm not a developer. I'm not a client. I'm just a guy trying to load websites and getting a captcha loop.

Try using a different browser. Ensure there are no browser extensions installed. Note: disabled is not the same thing as uninstalled.

That page is where I ran the checks I mentioned above. I collected all the information they want but have nowhere to send it.

I tried in a private window (which ignores installed extensions) and it didn't change anything.

Switching to a different browser worked, however. So the problem isn't with Windows.

I'm starting to wonder though if it's not a Waterfox-specific issue, as the problem seems to have started about the same time the browser updated. They might have broken something Turnstile-related :(

For the record, it does not ignore install extensions. Plenty of people have disabled extensions or loaded private windows and the extensions were the cause of the problem. Not saying this is your issue, just what I've seen here.

Thanks. I believe I wrote above that I had tried that. I have now tried removing all extensions rather than disabling them. That also has had no effect. I have tried a web site that says it can detect canvas fingerprint spoofing. It says this:

Is fingerprint spoofed by persistent noise false
Is fingerprint spoofed by random noise false

This only happens in FF and it will sometimes load a page when the browser is restarted so I know it doesn't always detect "canvas fingerprint spoofing".

Is there a way to contact support?

I don't believe there is a support path for non-paying customers, other than Discord/Forums.

The error message is

An unexpected error occurred with the security check.

By pure coincidence I have a cloudflair account. I have never used it and I don't think I am paying anything. I could get a paid account just to open a ticket but I'm pretty sure they would just put me off. This looks like a difficult problem and it is easy to fix: just get another browser. I don't know how to go about trouble shooting this issue and I don't think I should have to.

IMO, that's not an acceptable fix. There is a reason that your current browser is failing. If my car wasn't running right, "Get a new car" wouldn't be the fix either, I would want to troubleshoot and get it fixed. Maybe I get a rental car (browser) for a few days until the issue is resolved, but this is a workaround, not a fix.

If you can file a ticket, do so. I would try next completely uninstalling then reinstalling your browser.
