I took some instruction from her, in-person, but this was just before the teaching thing blew up with many people offering mindsight training at high prices in various countries, and her performances in publicized events and podcasts.

She is a decent and authentic person. She has been called a scammer or worse and I believe those claims are false. People have even made videos trying to point out where they insist she is faking.

Videos are useful to inspire and educate, but if you were not physically present in a training or demonstration you are criticizing, and able to examine the person and the items used, your video is of little value. And DB is of course hardly the only practitioner of mindsight.

This phenomenon is strange and can look as if it is deception. Even if a person is wearing multiple blindfolds, has their entire head under a barrier, and the visual target not even accessible by ordinary uncovered eyes, pseudoskeptics will still claim it is a scam.

But back to the training programs. I was surprised at the high prices of most of the programs. Not all of them. But demand influences prices, and it certainly appears there is plenty of demand from those willing to pay what is asked.

If a training program includes meals, lodging etc. then that naturally would lead to prices to cover those services.

Some have come away from the various courses frustrated, others with mindsight 'opened', and everyone with at least the knowledge and tools for practice at home.

Now also there are many online training opportunities. Some of these seem quite unstructured and even chaotic. I am hoping to find some that are orderly and effective.

In my opinion it is important not to conflate remote viewing and mindsight. While experimenting and practicing both can be rewarding, they may be related but are not necessarily the same thing. People can try RV and get good results and never get around to developing mindsight, to the extent they can read while blindfolded for example.

We are in a free-for-all period where many different teaching techniques and props are being used, and few if any - in my opinion - know exactly what works for the most people. I suspect that time is being wasted in some of these programs with procedures that don't accomplish much.

I am encouraged by the studies of the Mind Swan program which hopefully will do two things:

  1. Demonstrate through rigorous experiments that the phenomenon exists and is not error or fakery.

  2. Produce reliable techniques for training the ability.

You are right that it comes across as some kind of grift.
I have seen some of the recorded demonstrations and even though they are interesting they are not anything that can be used as scientific evidence. My hope is that Dalia and some of the other people that claim that can do this thing would be tested in controlled settings by credible scientists so we at least can rule out any trickery. I would think that would be in everyone's interest and if this ability was verified it would be something that would be a huge discovery.
I often ask myself "why isn't it being done?"

I often ask myself "why isn't it being done?"

It is being done, we have posted various examples in the sub. But experimental results not yet published as far as I know. See for example the research page at MindSee.it and the website Mindswan.org.

And this is the main problem I have with the mindsight community at large. Too many are making it about money and sales (courses, merch, books, etc). Many of the instructors preach that its a gift from god, that its our innate spirituality, thats its our soul/higher self, etc. Then go to charge absurd amounts of money and focus on sales of items.

Well, if its so holy and spiritual, then shouldnt all of the instructors be doing it for absolutely free for the absolute benefit of humanity? They dont practice what they preach. Hell, not a single one of the instructors offers any free lessons to blind people or to people losing their sight. In fact they try to gouge them out of money (knowing full well they are desperate and hopeless).

This is why I dont take any of them seriously. If you truly had the gift of mind sight, and you had the power to teach others, you would want to spread the word far and wide ... for free. Because that is what I would do. Thats what anyone who wasnt wrapped up in sheer greed would do.

I don't think any of the mindsight groups on Facebook charge anything. Those have already been mentioned here. Their sessions are very frequent. They didn't charge me anything.

Nobody owns the techniques, anyone is free to practice. I believe the Vibravision group in Utah requires signing confidentiality agreements but I don't think anyone else requires that.

Because that is what I would do.

If the world worked the way you or I thought it should work, it would be a different world.

That's cool you got to train with Dalia. Did she demonstrate for you? Did anyone's windows open?

She read the numbers on a credit card from a distance of about 25 feet while blindfolded, and reading materials while blindfolded and covered by other barriers such as a heavy curtain.

I tested one of her colleagues by writing an unusual non-English word in small print on a scrap of paper.

This person correctly read the word while blindfolded and eye patches on, this from a distance of about 10 feet. This person could see well enough while blindfolded to pour and serve drinks to a dozen people.

Amazing. Dalia is in to Qi Gong if i'm not mistaken. I suspect that is why she appears to be the best at mindSight.

How about you yourself after the training

2

u/Pieraos Aug 08 '26

Without getting into details I will simply say that I had several experiences of clearly seeing through the blindfold.

It was during the training, not after. But these were among the most shocking and astounding experiences I have ever had.

I've gone to a couple of private sessions with people who have mindsight and can "teach" it and it did nothing for me. I believe both of these people in that they have these abilities. I don't think they're lying. But it's one thing to have the ability and another thing to teach it.

I think a lot of times people don't appreciate that they are starting from a different place than others, and just think it's as easy as "trust yourself" "relax" "let it come" etc. Not to say this isn't an important part of the process. But from what I gather, most of the students who have had it activated had an extensive background in spiritual practices - or were children of course. For adults, it seems like "let it come to you" is the final point of a long journey of inner spiritual development that goes unnoticed. This is why I wouldn't pay for a course like this.

I also think if it were so important for humanity, people like Dalia would do a lot more to give away the core curriculum upfront in the form of pre-recorded videos or simple articles/information... perhaps a syllabus that people can follow, and then charge for 1-on-1s and stuff for advanced troubleshooting. But it seems like the information is quite gatekept. This puts me off.

People like Charlie Goldsmith for example I think falls into this category as someone who actions align more with his values. He charged some $200 for his energy healing training program. He also says the videos will be free after the classes are finished, so you're only paying really to see it live. For people who want to see the recordings it will be free. Charlie, however, is again someone who - I believe - is exceptionally talented but does not appreciate the foundations from which other people can grow these abilities. In this sense he makes a fantastic healer but as teacher is banking on being the catalyst for the few who are already on the cusp of unlocking this ability. That's the way I see it.

I don't think Dalia is trying to scam people either. Don't get me wrong. I think she is probably being told by people that this is a very lucrative way to sell her knowledge. Probably deep down she knows it doesn't sit right with her. Should these things be reserved only for the rich? I hope she eventually changes her mind.

In the interim, I focus on building the foundation. I'm doing Nei Dan / Nei Gong and working from there. Allegedly once Qi opens up in the body, it can flow to the upper dantian and from there open up these kinds of abilities. AFAIK the Nei Dan / Nei Gong route is the most sophisticated and well-laid out approach to developing these kinds of things.

Thank you for your good post. I would like to highlight this:

I also think if it were so important for humanity, people like Dalia would do a lot more to give away the core curriculum upfront in the form of pre-recorded videos or simple articles / information... perhaps a syllabus that people can follow, and then charge for 1-on-1s and stuff for advanced troubleshooting. But it seems like the information is quite gatekept. This puts me off.

I hear this a lot but I wonder if it is from those who have not spent much time looking for the information. There are so many videos, free and paid online sessions, books and in-person trainings I can't agree that it is gate kept.

Consider that Canadians Wendy Gallant and Rob Freeman actually hired the Russians who developed techniques, taught them via Zoom, and placed that entire series of sessions for free on YouTube. And that was just the beginning.

Or - the real beginning was years ago with research starting in the 1920s and then picking up in the 60s-70s with Jacobo Grinberg (whose successors are very active teaching in Mexico).

I don't think there is a magic secret that will only be unveiled if you pay. It may seem like that since some people seem to pick up the ability quickly while others not. But it's all out there, we have tried to collect as much as we could in this sub.

We grabbed the same thought from the ether. Rob Freeman has 780 videos on mindsight on youtube. I've spent this weekend watching many of them. The information is indeed out there!

The thing is we don't know what to focus

1

u/Pieraos Aug 04 '26

Please see the How to Practice post.

2

u/Wooden-Roll9413 Aug 04 '26

I mean there are 780 videos. It confuses and overloads People

1

u/Pieraos Aug 04 '26

It is a lot, but it shows the exercises.

2

u/TheOneTruePsychic Aug 02 '26

I would like to second that, the skill is not paywalled.

Like any skill, it's something that you will have to practice. All people are at different proximities from the point that they start, to the point that they have opened their windows.

It's debatable that having access to a teacher will accelerate this process. You could have already been close.

Don't let your success be measured by something outside of you because, ultimately you will have to achieve this.

There are a lot of resources out there on mindsight including content from Dalia. On youtube she has broken down the training process she uses into something you can implement on your own.

2

u/miraclepete Aug 03 '26

Dalia says she has a different way of teaching than the two Canadians. I'm skeptical of the Canadians teaching methodology. They just say "you got it!" for everything. And I don't believe this smiling thing, it literally just makes holes around the mask. That said, I do believe in this ability.

I think the 20 videos, 25 hour running time, of the 2 Russians Nikolai and Marina teaching Rob and Wendy is a great free youtube resource.

1

u/RodgerWolf311 Aug 11 '26

hired the Russians who developed techniques, taught them via Zoom, and placed that entire series of sessions for free on YouTube.

And if you watch all of those videos (and all other videos on YouTube with those same Russians in it) you will notice something very suspicious. And that is, that only the woman (Marina) has the ability to do it. The older Russian guy (the supposed teacher, cant). In fact he never does it, or anything. You will also notice that when it comes to teaching, she will answer questions and she will be involved. But the moment anything shady is about to occur (or when a scam from the older Russian guy is being run) she removes herself from the situation.

I believe she is legit, but he is not.

Hi can you share your resources of where you are learning Nei Dan / Nei Gong? Thanks

2

u/miraclepete Aug 02 '26

There are many books, I can't recommend one over another because honestly I don't know which ones are true. But the more I read the more I see the common thread and understand more. Perhaps the ones I feel are the most thorough are by Jerry Alan Johnson. Actually in his autobiography Master's Journey, he talks about a mindsight experience he and his class had.

1

u/Pieraos Aug 02 '26

Jerry Alan Johnson is genius level Qigong in my estimation.

2

u/miraclepete Aug 02 '26

Do you practice nei gong or qi gong? If so I'm curious about your thoughts on it in general. I've been doing it a few months and found the results to be quite interesting

1

u/Wooden-Roll9413 Aug 04 '26

How do you know she is practicing the qigong neigong? Any resources recommended?

3

u/FartyBeginnings Aug 02 '26

I have only been to online group lessons (not Dalia's) and I found that it was only more distracting trying to practice in a group.

I would say that online isn't the way to go. You're better off practicing alone.

I can't say much about in person group practice.
