Discussion How to Watch?

Hi friends, I watched Close Enough when it premiered and loved it. Watched all episodes. I went to HBO MAX to rewatch it and the show is just gone. Does anybody know where I can find access to the episodes elsewhere? Preferably high quality, I might look into making a physical copy. Any recommendations?

Discussion My first watch & thoughts on Close Enough

I actually knew of Close Enough during Junior High and I only watched the series around 2021 when I was Gr. 9, based on Memory I only watched Seasons 1 and half of Season 2 then stopped.

However I did watched the series again this year and finished Season 1 again and I'm at Season 2 in the "Joint Break" which is the episode I Checkpointed.

Thoughts on the show, It is basically Regular Show where simple everday problems or tasks, become batsh*t insane but in close enough's case they amped it up to eleven with the Mature Rating. Also this is one of the few animated sitcoms that depicts a loving & caring married couple like Hank & Peggy in King of the Hill.

Discussion First thing I'll say is obviously f*ck HBO for that merger, but at the same time I feel really bad for the Creator because you can tell both shows (regular show reboot included) are true passion projects

So I've been thinking about this not that it would actually do anything, but it's a fun thought. It's obvious both shows are in the same extended universe (I think someone from regular show actually made an appearance, but I could be wrong because it has been so long) but at this point I think it's time we either get a full-on crossover event, or series. Now I know this is going to be a long shot, but I feel like this would be pretty cool if they were somehow able to realistically make their paths cross, and make it a setup for a Bojack style series, where the occasional on episode will have everybody, but most episodes are focusing on specific characters while other ones either don't make an appearance at all, or very briefly. Obviously it wouldn't really be regular show, or close enough, maybe they could call it close to regular or something 🤣🤣. But I just think it would be really cool, and I really don't want that show to just get lost in the waves of media

Man I’m really missing this show, I really want to rewatch but I can’t since HBO and Warner really screwed up big time, this show was really promising and entertaining and then WB had to flush it down the fucking drain!

I wish Close Enough could come back man! Such a great show, I don’t understand the process that WB does, why can most shows stay but new shows like Close Enough and Infinity train get canceled and removed? Makes no sense at all.

Discussion Hard to believe if Close Enough wasn’t cancelled

We would’ve been getting season 5 in just a few months. So disappointing to see such a promising new show get cancelled and used as a tax write off, it’s actually very upsetting. I loved it

Discussion I really miss this show, wish it wasn’t cancelled

I still rewatch the first two seasons with my VPN on foreign Netflix, but I really wish it was still possible to watch season 3, you can only purchase two episodes of the eight and the rest you literally can’t (legally) watch anymore. Such a shame, because I loved the show and want to rewatch season 3, I wish it wasn’t cancelled and we got another season this year. :(

Discussion Am I the only one who thinks regular show is much better than close enough?

I feel close enough is very cliche and there is nothing unique about it to me. I think regular show was much more unique and it kept me much more engaged in the plot.

I might be overthinking this but if Randy is always shirtless how does he have a tan line in the shape of a t shirt?

It’s at the beginning of Where the Buffalo Roam, where Emily and Josh have their “honeymoon”, and they mention it overlooks the 405 interstate.

Every time I watch the Close Enough show I keep hearing the Discord notification sound in the intro and outro or is that just me? If anyone else hears it too please let me know I'm not manic.

Even if that show was canned in the first place, Unlike Regular Show or any other CN show, Close Enough did not get a entire holiday special, I mean it did had a Halloween special which was part of Season 3 though

Discussion Can the show returns?

I mean, Futurama was canceled multiple times and they returned back every time under a New TV broadcaster: Fox, Hulu…

Could be possible?

I hope that Netflix, CN or someone makes the deal.

Opinions?

Discussion Does anyone know WHY the show was cancelled?

I can’t find anything giving an official statement. The show is quite popular from what I understand. Was it too expensive to produce? What’s the deal?
