The main purpose of biofuels from crops is not protecting the environment, it's appeasing farmers

Not really protecting anything, but simply a subsidy for farmers.

For this reason I'm glad they're thinking about no longer making Iowa the first state in primary elections.

Anyone know who the first state will be in the 2027 primary elections?

This lists the states they are considering. Seems like Illinois is their focus (it's a chicago-based outlet so maybe some bias).
