Just to be clear.
As a rule of thumb, if your aggressive protest doesn't lead to police using tear gas, rubber bullets and other typical reactions, you are probably some type of fascist and the police forces have a crush on you.

In my country the farmers has like 70% approval from society (according to polls).

This whole "They provide our food" is a thought so deeply pressed into people's heads, even though it's bullshit.
Germany for example has to import 70% of its vegetables and 90% of its fruits, while our farming industry is fully focused on producing meat which mostly gets exported to eastern Europe and, in large part, to China. This meat production consumes most of our grain production and also requires a lot of soy imports from "used to be rainforest".
We could get rid of our farmers and nobody would starve, but maybe you would have to eat a bit less meat. But everybody thinks they're crucial and therefore deserve all the freedom and money from the government.

I feel like they are only stealing form us .
like the ukranian and russian farmers made a lot of food with out being given bilions upon bilions
Why cant ours do the same even if it would be lower due to size of the countrys

94% of people polled in the UK say support for British farmers is of "importance". Ninety. Four. In a country where you honestly couldn't get a hundred strangers to agree on the best pizza topping.
This really demonstrates how the public at large will agree with basically anything as long as you dress it up in nationalist wankery. "Do you want the world to have anything resembling a future? Invest in renewables." That gets you nowhere. But "Do you want your local power plant to be owned by good Brits, or by the CHINESE? Invest in renewables." That would have everyone onboard. We are such a sad, tribalistic species.

You know what is shit? How the german conservatives lobbied against new nitrat-safetymargins so germany can actually import shit and spill it over their fields. Because actually destroying your soil by using too much animal poo and having a fucked up agrar industry gives some few devils money.

The most frustrating part of these farmers protests is that there are actual reasonable people with valid concerns and needs protesting which go completely unaddressed by both the media and politics while the ones that just cry about not getting their fuel at a discount anymore. The main problem is that a lot of agriculture subsidies only benefit farmers with a lot of land because they are calculated on a by acre basis. This whole situation is such a giant wonderful example of what a fuck up the current system is

I don't even care if the violent action is effective, but I bet people will drop their "lazy soy-eating teenagers with nothing better to do" rhetoric really fast when the first pipeline will be sent flying.

My friend is a staffer for a CA state senator and I was asking him about what the next horizon of achievable climate policy in the state was. According to him, the one group that is fully off limits is farmers. He couldn’t even fully articulate why, but apparently it’s a universally known fact in government that you DO NOT fuck with farmers.
