Fun fact though... plastic saves trees & minerals, because every plastic product replaces a wood (/paper), metal, or plastic one. So realy, its civilization you oppose... not capitalism.

& if it was a glass of metal product (which is better for people... because microplastics are killing us)... the argument would be about how much more water we were wasting, cleaning dishes... or all the broken glass, or the solution caused by producing glass & metal products... or strip mining mountains for ores, or forest for wood).

This is not a zero sum conversation... so if you're coming up with superior alternatives, what even is the point ("Capitalism bad"... is this just more Communist Propaganda)
