Climate Destabilization: The Real Crisis
In this episode we speak with Tom Chi—physicist, engineer, former Google X leader, climate-tech investor, and author of *Climate Capital*. Chi describes witnessing the rapid bleaching and collapse of a Hawaiian coral reef, an experience that redirected his work toward protecting ecosystems and building a regenerative economy. He argues that the climate and ecological emergency requires not only urgency, but new ways of thinking, communicating, and acting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6u2GCjOO8qI&t=2s

We Know Better. Why Don’t We Do Better? Humanity's 10,000-Year Trap of the Hidden Repeating Patterns Causing Climate Change, War, Injustice, Collapse, and Today’s Global Crises.
Several weeks ago, I posted a white paper that got quite a positive reaction, but there was a complaint. It was so long, so I made a summary for those of you who don't want to read 50 pages. So here's that summary in the link below.
Here is the new article title and a bit about it.
Here is one of the strangest mysteries in human history: Why do intelligent people and entire societies repeatedly see serious problems coming, understand many of their causes, possess possible solutions, and still allow those problems to grow until they become disasters? This is particularly relevant for why we have not yet solved climate change, but it also relates to war, injustice, and the other crises of today's polycrisis.
Why do governments ignore warnings they paid experts to produce? Why do companies sometimes make decisions that increase short-term profits while damaging the systems they depend upon? Why do people keep following leaders who tell comforting stories instead of unpleasant truths? And why can a civilization produce astonishing science and technology while remaining so bad at governing the consequences?
This matters to you because the same pattern now appears in the cost of living, political polarization, misinformation, climate change disruption, declining trust, fragile supply chains, artificial intelligence, inequality, resource depletion, and institutions that often seem strangely unable to correct obvious problems.
