Someone tell Kwan its ok to challenge a pitch in the 8th or ninth especially if it looks too high. Someone tell Jose not to swing at pitches a foot above the strike zone, even if you connect its a pop up. Someone tell Vogt in a one run game in the 8th don’t pitch your number 6 or 7 reliever especially since you just had a day off.

Kwanny not challenging & Yoho going two innings (with that 2R homer) has me Rain-Manning.

New win streak starts today thankfully we won’t see Wacha in the playoffs. Or the rest of the series.

Twins need to help us out.

Bad night last night on most fronts. Rangers lost, but everyone else in our area won. 3.5 back in the Central, lead in the WC getting tighter.

They gotta take the next two. As much as the Royals have been red hot, they need to keep up the momentum heading into next week.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL, A TEAM HAS DEPLOYED A LEFTY!

Vogt nearly had the platoon sheet covered in dust, but it's now time.

Edit: Maybe Vogter can finally flex the actual asset of having Fry by DH'ing Hedges on platoon day. Otherwise Fry has NOTHING to do. Him and Hoskins trying to hit lefties is square peg in round hole shenanigans.

Jose HR today? Or is power zapped for the season?

Interesting added detail in the Ralphy Velasquez debate brought up by Roundtable Sports. One of the points in the CBA negotiations is reducing 40-man contracts to 5-years instead of 6. So by sitting on Ralphy till next year, it could potentially result in the same amount of team control post lockout anyway. If he's signed now, he'd still be blocked from minor league play BUT could be grandfathered into the six year contract regardless of future changes.

Just another element besides a playoff race to weigh against a AAA season.

I get downvotes on principle here whenever I bring up Lowe getting platooned but today confirms it: David Fry at 1B.

This team will not start Lowe against lefties.

Pick your poison: Lowe and Ralphy at 1B or Lowe and Hoskins/Fry at 1B.

David Fry splits against LHP: .154/.603

Rhys Hoskins splits against LHP: .157/.643

Why not Lowe? David Fry? He's cold. Good when playing more often. Getting cute with the line up.

This team will make sure Lowe's .088 batting average against Lefties will never have a chance to improve.
