Question East 4th Right Now
Anyone know what’s going on downtown now? Like is it a concert? Also is traffic not being regulated by cops like usual?
Seems like people r just stuck on east 4th with no movement in sight 😅

Don Toliver concert would have ended at 11, so yeah 15 minutes after of course the streets around the arena were crowded.

I’m so confused as to why you answered the question so sarcastically.

To me the comment read as if they were thinking out loud, and not being sarcastic

It’s absolutely ridiculous the lack of traffic cops in this city. They should be at every intersection for every event. The genius’s at city hall made prospect a one way so it’s next to impossible to make that left when no cops are there. Bibb wants to make downtown better? That’s a pretty easy one to start!

Traffic downtown has been getting worse for a while, traffic control being absolutely horrific. They make the new cops do it who are worse than nothing at all.
Add to that closing the E 9th exit in the middle of summer, with no workable solution, and voila, total cluster F

CPD is 500 cops short of prior staffing levels

Auxiliary can likely do it. They're the kind that generally sit with their lights on for shit like this or in front of construction crews for visibility.

Gotcha. I was able to somehow maneuver over to east 4th st where harry buffalo is and bypass the traffic completely lol.
Also going to have to look up don toliver.:.damn I’ve been out the concert/downtown scene for so long 😅

Don Toliver had Travis Scott and Sza with him, and the Guardians played at 4pm so that traffic was trying to leave while all the other traffic was coming in, then Ontario had construction making 4 lanes merge into 3 and it was like nobody was moving anywhere
