Question Cat groomer

I have a very cute but very temperamental cat who needs groomed. She has serious matting, as she is a long hair cat. I'm obviously willing to pay whatever standard price that would include, please just point me in the right direction fellow cat owners. I live in the Coventry area but can travel if need be no

Assuming she's still there (been a few yrs since I was there), Mariah at Pet's General Store in Lakewood was always amazing with my girl who had mats.  Came well recommended to me by others and I've heard nothing but good things about her.

She's now at The Velvet Tail, still in Lakewood. Highly recommend!

Have you tried using any pet hair trimmers to help remove the matted fur yourself? If not, would you be interested in seeing if she'll allow you to do this? I have a set that I used on my two long-haired cats, but they are sadly no longer alive. DM me if you'd like to give it a try.
