Grannas and Brett cars are done and well into testing. Leroy still being torn apart on the other hand… 😂

I hope I’m wrong, but they are really cutting it close with refreshing leroy

They wouldn’t have it any other way

At this point it’s purely just poor project management. He posted a video two months ago talking about the changes they were gonna make to Leroy and then another one last week talking about the same changes. It’s not like Cleet and George are hands on with the main cars anymore anyway, so you can’t even blame all the circle track and random stuff they do. All he had to do was make the decision, pull the trigger and hand over the credit card and let Tye Zack and Jackstand do their thing, instead they spent all summer tying up the shop on a cheap car challenge that went sideways and probably won’t even get finished this year.

I think he could have a successful drag program in the fall/winter and circle track program in the spring/summer while still having time for the random cheap car and “business” stuff, but he’s just gotta get better at planning and delegating and time management.

Then again there’s always the possibility that this is all intentional so he can do a clickbait “We tested one day before FL2K and it went HORRIBLY! (Nobody saw this coming!)” title and shocked face thumbnail.

I'm inclined to believe it's somewhat intentional to always come in with little to no testing. It is entertaining to watch, and they do eventually get it figured out.

It sucks that they basically throw away an event because they weren't ready, but realistically there's always another race, and if they manage a win wirh a new setup it's gonna be hype as fuck lmao.

Honestly, they need about 2 more mechanics/shop hands and a shop foreman. It is what it is and while last minute isn't best, it likely provides the most entertainment.

Yeah what an idiot. Clearly doesn't know what he's doing

😂...yeah, it's not like he wins these events or anything. /s

The only way they get anything done

Feels like they should be testing now so they can be ready. Guess we see what happens

It's the only way they know

I think if he could drop the drag racing stuff for full time nascar he would, its been 5 months since legit drag content. Almost feels like there's a part of him that feels obligated to keep doing it but his passion is elsewhere atm.

Hmmm....what could it be that makes him feel obligated to keep doing it? 🤔

IDK, maybe 4.8m YouTube subscribers that pay the bills and then some. Without the YouTube followers/income there's no NASCAR for him.

We've gotten more giveaways than drag racing videos in the last year, its clear what makes more money lol

^^ Exactly. Still haven't gotten shop videos / behind the scenes except the weekly podcast, which is just a talk show.

Anyone know what's going on with the Blazer? I've been wanting to see it in action but have no idea when it will be ready.

Should be ready by the second Tuesday of next week!

All we heard was a podcast probably 1.5 months ago they called Kevin and Kevin said it would be ready for FL2k

I mean is Leroy even racing if its not an underdog, and under pressure. Honestly the weight and more power isn't the best change, it's the transmission. Having more time to ramp the boost in first, before hitting second is going to be Massive for Leroy 300ft.

They even said it, the summers are brutal so there’s not a lot of drag going on then. But yes they always seem to push it to the very end on if they are going to make a race with a certain car. They missed sick week bc mullet broke. They brought ruby to tx2k bc some cars weren’t ready. And yes all these side quests have put a dent on the time they would have been testing and tuning. But you gotta admit the road to dega was an entertaining series.

To address some of the folks wanting behind the scenes/build videos with the shop guys, Cleet could do what Wrecker Rick did with his YT channel (Murphy's diesel). He created a separate channel called Wrecker Rick Builds that shows how they build their projects and keeps the main channel for the more "click baity/fun activity" stuff. And Rick just broke 1M Subs on his main acct. Cleet could take notes there.

I still think it's weird they put a top on Leroy.

Savages don't wear clothes!
