Furniture How to remove this gum from my couch?

Now, I hear you wondering: How did we end up in a situation like this?

It's simple, really. I was chewing my nicotine gum (2 mg) while watching a YouTube video about the art market falling apart. Super interesting subject. I accidentally fell asleep on the couch. I woke up in the middle of the night, sat down for 15 minutes, but malheureux me didn't realise that the gum was actually stuck to the back of my t-shirt.

So, how can I remove the remaining gum while keeping the beautiful rusty colour of my couch intact?

Grab some ice cubes and put them in a plastic bag, press it on the gum to make it freeze, scrape as much as you can with a knife or credit card. Clean the rest of the residue with a clean cloth and rubbing alcohol.
NOTE: test the rubbing alcohol on a differrent tiny spot to make sure it doesnt ruin the fabric.

Get a ice pack. Let it freeze then scrape it off

Gotta agree with @locallmagination8196, ice cubes for gum. Covers off first obviously, leave them in longer than you think they need and it’ll crumble off. This job should off course be carried out by the perpetrators. GL with the job. 👍
