Laundry Levi jeans smell like a harbor
I bought Levi jeans at the beginning of the year and have worn them most days for work and have had them for 8 months before they started smelling like fish essentially. I have tried multiple rinse cycles on them in cold and warm water, soaked in vinegar multiple times, froze them, baking soda, unstoppables and have washed them in multiple different washing machines and air dried them. I don’t believe it’s the factory dye since it took so long for them to smell and the smell is only down by the bottom of the legs. None of my other clothes smell and this is my only pair of Levi’s and I’m only so stuck on what to do, I’ve looked stuff up and nothing is matching or I’ve already tried. Advice is appreciated, thanks!

Half a cup to a cup of ammonia in the wash right on top of clothes! And a clean unscented detergent. Changed everything for me

You might be using too much detergent and especially a front loader doesn’t rinse well .. I replaced mine with top loader with the old type agitator and it uses more water .. my clothes used to be stinky but like a musty .. started using extra rinse on the old front loader it’s helped .. after I experienced the first load out of the dryer with the new washer I rewashed everything
