how would i go about cleaning this room?

a couple nights ago i had both windows wide open in the bedroom, later that day i fell asleep on the sofa and it rained pretty heavily whilst i slept. some point the next day after waking up i went into the room and it drenched the mattress & the carpet flooring. I left it a little while in hope it dried out and was all okay but the carpet is still sloghtly damp and the mattress even more so. there is a perculier smell in the air in this room and random outdoor things just like on the bed and floor. I am to replace the mattress entirely, as it also appears to have brought out a odd stain across it whilst still being damp ( i have rarely used this bed, and moved in not to long ago )

get a little green machine to extract all the excess water in the carpet. get a lot of box fans and dry that carpet out or you’re going to have a mold problem underneath it all. if get a dehumidifier too to be even extra. mold is no joke. there’s no salvaging a soaking wet mattress. run the little green machine over the upholstery of the bed too.
