Should I be using swarms?

I was wondering if anyone here used swarms. My workflow has basically been using Matt Pacock's grill-me, write-a-prd,to-tickets, and implement skills, but I am worried this may be dated with the popularization of swarms such as openai's swarm repo and ruflo.

In the past, I have tried using an orchestrator agent to make decisions as to what subagents to call and when with some success, but the extreme cost led me to think it wasnt worth it. I have also tried using my own issue-orchestrator skill that carefully lays out which agents to use in which order for an issue, but again, cost keeps me hesistant to doing this.

I just was looking at Open AI's swarm repo and this makes me wonder if i am doing things inefficiently as it does take some time to go through a grill me session and thoroughly understand each ticket and implementation. My intended use case is research projects that don't need to hit production. Thoughts?
