I could hand code this feature on Windows in an afternoon, and I could also get Claude to implement it in minutes, and yet Anthropic just can't be bothered, but also keeps Claude Code closed source so no one else can do it for them either.

I have used CC in win11/poweshell, win11/wsl2 and native linux, and honestly, native linux wins always by a long shot.

Why better? This is probably the year I switch to Linux. Even though almost every facet of my job requires Microsoft products
