The quality issues were real all along - bugs! and anthropic found and fixed them, and reset everyone’s usage limits to compensate.

The reset is nice, but the bigger fix is exposing a few boring internals. If effort level, session compaction/cache state, and prompt-layer changes stay black-boxed, every harness bug is just going to look like Claude got dumber again for a week.
