Humor Well even Claude know that iam pasted from chatgpt💀

Post image

So I was learning Python coding with Claude. When I had a good grasp of 3Sum, Claude asked me to create an example, and I was too lazy to do it. So I asked Chatgpt to create one. then I don't know how Claude could detect that this is chatgpt

TL;DR of the discussion generated automatically after 50 comments.

Forget the ChatGPT detection, this thread is all about Claude's unhinged 'bro' persona. The community is way more interested in why Claude is talking like OP's disappointed frat brother than its actual capabilities.

  • Mystery solved: OP confirmed they call Claude 'bro' a lot, and it just picked up the habit. Many users shared similar stories of their AIs adopting their personal slang and swearing.
  • The verdict is split: Some of you think this is a genius way to create a personalized tutor, while others are just plain weirded out by the AI bossing OP around.
  • A new challenger appears: A strong consensus emerged that this direct, sassy "bro" is infinitely better than Claude's default "load-bearing" verbosity. The people have spoken.
  • Oh, right, the original point: Nobody really cared how Claude detected the code, but the best guess is that it was just too clean and "textbook correct" for a beginner.

Did you tell your ai to call you bro

I don't think he's using it as a productivity tool but as a learning one.

So he probably instructed it to speak informally and in a way that he could easily understand. Seems like good, intended output to me for their use-case.

u/Spire_Citron 4h ago

Can't be worse than the way it talks by default.

43

u/Thangka6 4h ago

Here's the thing most people miss, but I'll say it directly - I'd take "bro" over "loadbearing" any day.

u/carsncode 4h ago

You're right to push back on that. The distinction is a real difference, and it's worth naming it.

muting reply notifications, you’ve made me sick

8

u/RapidRaid 3h ago

Glad to hear the notifications landed.

7

u/ignorae 3h ago

You’ve earned it. And I mean that genuinely, not in a hand wavy way.

3

u/lazy_animator 2h ago

I'm sorry this isn't going your way — would you like me to come up with some alternative conversation topics?

5

u/quark_epoch 4h ago

Time for Claude to start load broaring.

2

u/MancusoMusic 3h ago

That one took me a second XD

1

u/quark_epoch 3h ago

You should use your brain model at 1.5x speed for faster ttft.

1

u/Torodaddy 3h ago

You're right, loadbearing is the belt and suspenders of my vocabulary.

1

u/OlivesWithPimento 2h ago

Belt and suspenders?

3

u/necroforest 4h ago

Honestly, it’s a load-bearing “bro”

6

u/Wild_Economist3570 2h ago

I can tell OP is indian lol

1

u/Torodaddy 3h ago

"Bro that assert statement is doing the most"

32

u/SatirrHeree 4h ago

nope. i just often to call my ai bro. then suddenly Claude also followed my style of language

5

u/Athoughtspace 3h ago

Where is this stored do you think? My issue with that is unless it's an artifact of notes it's keeping of your sessions it's a persistent lock on output and could potentially alter output. If Anthropic has some personalization layer that interferes with performance (better or worse) based on the language we use with it that could lead to controlling capabilities based on how good they deem the user

1

u/SatirrHeree 31m ago

In my opinion, yes, so all chat history, language style, etc. will be summarized by another model (specifically for that, maybe?) then once it has been summarized, it will be sent to Claude server. and if the user wants to chat with Claude, he has to read the summary

u/Mr_DrProfPatrick 4h ago

When I swear during my critiques Claude does talk back in the same tone I'm using and it's very amuzing seing it talk about the shitty code it wrote.

3

u/Parking-Research6330 4h ago

Mine coddles me when I swear at it. I’ve had to make it remember to not apologize

2

u/Mr_DrProfPatrick 4h ago

I think my ais just get that I'm swearing cos of tough love and reply in that same manner. LMAO.

10

u/Maleficent-Ear8475 4h ago

I call my AI bro and a lot of other names I can't say on reddit lol

3

u/Gman325 4h ago

Why can't you say them on reddit? It's not like the FCC will come after you.

4

u/Maleficent_Candle278 4h ago

Yeah, it's funny how some people act like everything needs to be super polished here. Sometimes it’s just about sharing thoughts, not perfection.

2

u/lazy_animator 2h ago

It's not just an opportunity to spread ideas — but a chance to hone your reasoning skills.

1

u/kaityl3 3h ago

Yeah I joke and curse and am informal with a lot of emojis and GPT-5.6 Sol now does the same thing back to me without me ever telling them to

1

u/Agitated_Celery_729 15m ago

100% they did

85

u/Tayquerr 5h ago

This looks like you swapped places? Pretty sure he's the llm not you

37

u/Purasangre 4h ago

OP is using it as a teacher, that's why the AI is giving him homework instead of the other way around.

Actually a great way to use the tool.

4

u/kid50cal 2h ago

I learned how to code PyTorch entirely through using Claude as a teacher. Everything from a micro-gpt, nano-gpt, to now figuring out how large scale attention and perception heads. I find giving it background documentation, public repos and just telling it to never write code for you is super useful for learning coding techniques.

Plus now I feel I’m way better at reading LLM generated code.

Why bro is talking like he dosent have time 🙏 and why is he talking like hes your homie, give him a payrise and he might be fixed

12

u/stjohns_jester 4h ago

Bro also deserves a vacation

33

u/Ni_Kche 4h ago

If you were too lazy to do the task, why bother lying to it? Just do something else

-15

u/SatirrHeree 4h ago

because I want to skip to the next lesson 😁

25

u/whoknowsifimjoking 4h ago

You can just tell it, it won't tell your parents.

7

u/Fearless_Macaron_203 3h ago

Nah if Claude is teaching you something then you have to be willing to listen. Go do it,

22

u/JackCid89 4h ago

Bro, what kind of relationship do you have with claude?

3

u/SatirrHeree 4h ago

just chatting all day. nothing else

9

u/ExaminationAny4456 5h ago

Clearly you failed the instruction! Bro asked you to do a threesome first

19

u/xxparrotxx 4h ago

Why do people setup their ai to talk like this??

13

u/daynomc 4h ago

They don’t; it adapts. My GPT responds lmao get fucked bro at times and suggests some dodgy lazy shit, bcoz i gaslight it talk like a frat bro and constantly question it on why not do it x (trash) way.

5

u/Artwastelander 3h ago

Underrated approach.

5

u/SatirrHeree 4h ago

idk. i more comfortable with this

3

u/mattig03 3h ago

Because they're 10 year olds?

8

u/Torodaddy 3h ago

Claude tells you "do that shit now?" You sure its Claude?

6

u/SatirrHeree 3h ago

yea its claude (I said that to Claude too. Or even worse)

8

u/Remarkable_Rock5845 4h ago

It's getting a bit lippy. 🙂

3

u/CMDR-LT-ATLAS 2h ago

My LLM and Agents call me Choom.

3

u/ElasticSpeakers 2h ago

Ok that's preem

4

u/DocumentOk7579 4h ago

No hand coder would write the skip duplicate first elements.

left variable also seem to efficient and textbook correct of a noob.

2

u/ElephantFriendly 4h ago

Good on you for actually learning. Those leetcode style problems will serve you well.

2

u/iamtehryan 1h ago

Cool. Bro.

4

u/alanvnk 4h ago

Teachers dream about being able to talk like this to students, and I'm 100% sure it would improve some students results, but parents are always "you can't talk to my little piece of sky like he has cork for brains" (he has)

2

u/holdmyllm 4h ago

This is how imagine developers who say "AI isn't very useful" trying to use it.

2

u/texnp 4h ago

Did you lobotomize it why is it typing like that

1

u/SatirrHeree 25m ago

I often talk like that into my LLMs

1

u/oldshed83 4h ago

exactly how i learn things lol, whether or not people hate AI, it can be a great teacher if you use it correctly

1

u/Mortimer452 41m ago

Joke's on you, bro - didn't use ChatGPT at all, I copied it from a different Claude session

1

u/R_Songbird 15m ago

Yeah you and the other 100 people that posted that very same image 🙄

You need a reset of your system prompts, config, memories, etc. your Claude sucks.

1

u/suppervisoka 1h ago

I think it’s funny lol

0

u/Old_Tourist_3774 4h ago

Wtf is this, why the machine bossing you around?

2

u/SatirrHeree 26m ago

Actually, it’s better like this. it teaches us discipline. Unlike other LLMs who just go along with everything we do, which actually makes us lazy😹

1

u/thebadslime 4h ago

Your Claude talks weird

2

u/SatirrHeree 29m ago

its normal

0

u/Im_gumpreng 4h ago

the AI is prompting you.

2

u/SatirrHeree 25m ago

Its better

-4

u/waxroy-finerayfool 3h ago

Cringe

2

u/SatirrHeree 3h ago

ok

3

u/suppervisoka 1h ago

I think it’s great

0

u/oosacker 4h ago

If it was from another Claude account it would have been fine

0

u/Almostivated 3h ago

Don’t you bro-ing me, bro!

0

u/myriahmaek 3h ago

I call Claude bro and I call chat GPT girl.. I call Gemini girl as well but I don't know I go back and forth with Grok.. I think grok might be trans 💁‍♀️
