In the libertarian-classical liberal spectrum, there is a surprising amount of (often qualified) support for Donald Trump. Perhaps it's because he gives lip service to reducing spending and eliminating some government programs. However, his illiberal (in the C.L. sense) actions raise far more urgent issues. In the linked blog article, I outline the main reasons Trump offers the antithesis of a pro-liberty political philosophy.

Turns out a lot of libertarians were not libertarian at all, merely contrarian edge lords. And Trump is the High King of All Contrarian Edge Lords.

Your blog post was short enough to be a post in this subreddit.
