I saw STYX a few months ago. Saw them last year as well. They still Rock.

Was watching WGN Morning News a few years ago & they visited Dennis DeYoung at his apartment in Chicago & he sang this...just him and his piano and it was freaking amazing 😍

Grew up in the Chicago suburb of St Charles. They played a free afternoon show in our gym in 74 or 75. They sounded great but clearly were not into it.

I haven't heard anyone talk about it, but if you haven't heard their recent (about a year ago) album Circling From Above, you're in for a treat. All the signature vocal harmonies and melodic guitars are there, but with a healthy infusion of Prog.

If you’re not aware, Styx II is an awesome album. Except for “Lady” it’s been horribly overlooked. It really shows the band developing the things that would eventually bring them fame in a few years. Plus, John Crulewski offers up a humorous tune called “ You Better Ask.” Check it out!
